Dolby Atmos upgrade for home cinema systems

What can you do if you want Dolby Atmos and 3D audio in your home cinema, but don’t want to tear open the ceiling or run cables across the living room? Patrick Fiekers from digitalvd.de tested two setups using the nuLine RS-54 ‘Dolby Atmos Enabled Speakers’ – as classic up-firing speakers and as front-height speakers mounted on the wall. His conclusion on 25 March 2026: „Die Nubert nuLine RS-54 haben mich im Test wirklich beeindruckt, und das liegt vor allem an ihrer enormen Flexibilität. Der integrierte Kippschalter zur Deaktivierung der Dolby-Filterung macht diesen Lautsprecher zu einem echten Allrounder für den 3D-Sound. […]“
[Loose translation: “The Nubert nuLine RS-54 really impressed me during testing, and that’s mainly down to their tremendous flexibility. The built-in toggle switch for disabling Dolby filtering makes this speaker a true all-rounder for 3D sound. […]”
