Enthusiastic for a good 40 years

American James T. Russell's idea was to develop into something big. Alongside the Japanese company Sony, the Dutch company Philips came up with the plan to create a new storage medium for songs in the form of the CD. They even joined forces without further ado. In 1983, the time had finally come and the first CD player was commercially available. At that time, the CD selection was still limited, but the little power pack has since undergone a ground-breaking development.
