Passive loudspeakers are the tried and tested, classic option if you want to enjoy excellent sound with a stereo/hifi speaker pair or by means of a multi-channel ensemble. Together with a suitable amplifier or receiver or a powerful pre/power amplifier combination, passive loudspeakers work "at the end" of the chain, so to speak, and take on a fundamentally important role here: namely that of unfolding pure acoustic fascination in the listening room.

Nubert has traditionally offered different series of passive loudspeakers - there should be a suitable option for everyone in our broad product range. Passive loudspeakers are Nubert's DNA and are largely responsible for our great successes on the loudspeaker market.

Our big family

Our range of passive loudspeakers is divided into three model families: The first is our surprisingly powerful sounding, visually fresh nuBoxx series. This is followed by our absolute classic in a simple, extremely elegant Bauhaus style: the nuLine series. And then there are our nuVero passive loudspeakers, specially developed for hi-fi and multi-channel connoisseurs who expect the extraordinary.

The special thing about our passive loudspeakers is that we have a comprehensive range of different passive loudspeakers per series for every application.

nuBoxx - Lots of sound and a fresh look

Our popular nuBoxx range of passive loudspeakers includes two floorstanding speakers of different sizes (nuBoxx B-60 and nuBoxx B-70), two classic passive bookshelf speakers (nuBoxx B-30, nuBoxx B-40), an ultra-flat speaker for wall mounting (nuBoxx BF-10) and a high-quality universal speaker (nuBoxx B-50). The latter is also ideal for use as a center speaker in a surround set.

nuLine - Our classic for the finest acoustics

Within the passive loudspeakers of our nuLine series, there are three powerful floorstanding speakers (nuLine 334, nuLine 284 and nuLine 264), whose visual appearance ranges from imposing to delicate and graceful. There is also a classic bookshelf speaker (nuLine 34), an ultra-compact direct radiator/dipole (nuLine 24), two center speakers (nuLine CS-64 and nuLine CS-174 for the large listening room), a flat wall speaker (nuLine WS-14) and a Dolby Atmos/3D audio speaker (nuLine RS-54).

nuVero - Avant-garde in sound and design

You'll find high-end sound in our legendary nuVero series. Why legendary? Because Nubert opened up a completely new field with the nuVero passive loudspeaker series, namely to offer real top sound that you can afford. And of course the progressive design also contributed to the excellent reputation. Within the nuVero passive loudspeaker range, you have a choice: the "rock of the range", the nuVero 170, or the slightly smaller but also acoustically brilliant nuVero 140? For medium-sized listening rooms, we even have a third floorstanding version in our range, the nuVero 110. This is followed by our universal genius: the extremely versatile nuVero 70 passive loudspeaker is not only an almost perfect center speaker, but is also ideal as a stereo pair or in the surround range of a large multi-channel loudspeaker solution. Our nuVero 50, which is also extremely elegant, feels at home on walls and ceilings. That leaves two bookshelf speakers: the nuVero 30 direct radiator/dipole fits almost anywhere, and the nuVero 60 as a larger bookshelf speaker is perfect for stereo fans who can't set up a floorstanding speaker but don't want to do without great sound.

Want more bass?

Our active nuSubs are the ideal low-frequency complement for all our passive speakers. The nuSub XW-800 slim and the nuSub XW-700 in the classic layout are ideal for smaller bookshelf and universal loudspeakers. Our nuSub XW-900 is always in the right place, even for larger surround ensembles. And if you need a brute and exceptionally dynamic bass response, our reference model, the nuSub XW-1200, is an extremely powerful alternative. So everyone can find exactly the bass boost they need.
