Hello Heiko, thank you for your pictures. Which speakers and electronics do you have installed in your home cinema, and why did you choose this setup?
I decided in early 2014 to replace my Berliner speakers with speakers from Nubert, and I haven't regretted this decision to this day. It's 'only' the nuBox series, but I am absolutely satisfied with it.
In the photo, my setup is complemented in the rear by two dipole speakers.
Over the years, AV receivers from Harman Kardon, Onkyo, and currently the AVC-X3800 from Denon found their place in the central setup.
Dolby Atmos and Auro 3D are approaching rapidly for me.
What makes the fascination of home cinema for you?
The fascination of home cinema, for me, means experiencing great and precise sound in my own four walls with a solid bass foundation.
The 65" Sony is perfectly fine at a distance of 3.8m and provides a very sharp image.
I tried cinema seats but returned them after a short trial phase because, especially during a 12-hour series marathon, the couch is simply the best.
Which movie or series should one definitely not miss?
Currently, one of my favorite series is "The Mandalorian".
Movies like "Top Gun: Maverick", "Oblivion", and "Ready Player One" are, in my opinion, must-watches.
