It couldn't be better

Christoph de Leuw tested our large compact nuPro XS-4000 RC for COMPUTER BILD – and was very impressed. His conclusion on 21 June 2025:
„Die Nubert nuPro XS-4000 RC kommen dem perfekten Lautsprecher schon ziemlich nahe, nur WLAN beherrschen sie nicht. Drahtlos lässt sich Musik aber via Bluetooth zuspielen, hinzu kommen reichlich Anschlüsse inklusive USB für den Einsatz am Computer. Dank unverfälschtem und fein aufgelöstem Klang taugen sie genauso für den Computer-Arbeitsplatz von Musikern und Video-Bearbeitern. Ihr satter und präziser Bass verleiht am Fernseher Action-Filmen den nötigen Nachdruck. Und die präzise räumliche Staffelung und unangestrengte Klarheit lädt zum ausgiebigen Musikhören ein. Besser geht es wirklich kaum, zumindest nicht im bezahlbaren Bereich […].“

[Loose translation: The Nubert nuPro XS-4000 RC comes pretty close to being the perfect speaker, except it doesn't have Wi-Fi. But you can stream music wirelessly via Bluetooth, and it's got loads of connections, including USB for use with your computer. Thanks to its pure, high-resolution sound, it's just as good for musicians and video editors working at their computers. Their rich and precise bass gives action films on the television the necessary punch. And the precise spatial staging and effortless clarity invite you to listen to music at length. It really doesn't get much better than this, at least not in the affordable range [...]."

The editorial team awarded it a score of 1.1, meaning that the nuPro XS-4000 RC outperformed the previous test winner, the XS-3000 RC (which also received a score of 1.2, or ‘very good’).
