Our Questions to Mark S. about Home Cinema Weeks:

Hello Mark, thank you for your pictures. What speakers and electronics do you have installed in your home cinema, and why did you choose this particular setup?

Special features, aka "do it yourself":

40 cm deep bass absorber: Positioned next to the wall and front left to allow the XW to breathe properly. Piano lacquer on the outside, Rockwool on the inside, and bathing suit fabric on the front.

Phono furniture: Equipped with Philips Hue and milk glass windows on wooden doors covered with genuine carbon. The infrared remote control signal passes through the glass, and the Marantz is hidden.

Children's toy bass absorber: I don't think my wife has noticed yet that the lower compartment is 10 cm shorter, and behind it, 60 cm x 80 cm of Rockwool is doing a great job.

Flower pots on the shelves: Yes, here too, I stuffed Rockwool. In the rattan flower stand (not in the picture), whole 1.5 panels have disappeared.

Additional sound optimization: - Under the 2 m kitchen table, there is acoustic foam that no visitor has noticed so far. - Panels are also installed on the cabinets. - Under the couch and under the phono furniture, there are cardboard boxes filled with Rockwool. - Double blinds look good and effectively reduce sound reflection from glass panes.
