Following on from its larger sibling, Fritz Schwertfeger has now invited the smaller compact speaker, the nuZeo 3, to be tested by the Fairaudio editorial team. Sein Fazit vom 27. Juni:

„Wer eher kleinere Lautsprecher sucht, klanglich aber gerne a bisserl mehr hätte, der dürfte an den kompakten Nubert nuZeo 3 großen Gefallen finden. Dass sie keine fundamentale, schwere, für ihre Größe aber beeindruckende Performance im Tieftonbereich liefern, muss in normalen bis kleineren Räumen kein Nachteil sein – ganz im Gegenteil. Zumal sie mit Feingefühl und direktem, involvierendem Temperament zu überzeugen wissen. Die gute Konnektivität und die wohlproportionierte Optik sind weitere Vorteile. Nachteilig ist allenfalls das fehlende Display.
Freunde „uferloser“ Räumlichkeit, die lieber hinten auf der Empore statt vorne Platz nehmen, werden hier allerdings nicht bedient. Die Nubert nuZeo 3 bieten vielmehr den Direktzugang zur Bühne, punkten mit einer ziemlich neutralen wie stressfreien Gangart und geben sich spritzig-impulsiv. Dass die kleinen Nubert dabei sowohl laut wie leise überzeugend aufspielen, ohne sich je im Ton zu vergreifen, unterstreicht ihre akustische Allroundtauglichkeit noch.“

The fact that they do not deliver a fundamental, heavy performance in the low frequency range, but are impressive for their size, is not necessarily a disadvantage in normal to smaller rooms – quite the contrary. Especially since they impress with their sensitivity and direct, engaging temperament. Good connectivity and well-proportioned appearance are further advantages. The only disadvantage is the lack of a display.
However, fans of ‘boundless’ space who prefer to sit at the back of the gallery rather than at the front will not be catered for here. The Nubert nuZeo 3 speakers offer direct access to the stage, score points with their fairly neutral and stress-free approach, and come across as lively and impulsive. The fact that the small Nubert speakers perform convincingly at both high and low volumes without ever compromising on sound quality further underlines their acoustic versatility.
