Power in slender columns

Thomas Schmidt tested our anniversary box, the nuJubilee 50, for HiFi Test, issue 4/2025 – and was impressed by the price tag:

„[…] Wie bei jedem Test zeigt sich auch hier, dass eine durchdachte und technisch saubere Ausführung eines Lautsprechers immer zu guten Ergebnissen führt - man kann einen Haken hinter jede der Teildisziplinen Dynamik, räumliche Abbildung, tonale Neutralität, Präzision setzen und muss trotzdem anerkennen, dass die Boxen über die Summe ihrer einzelnen Qualitäten hinaus ungemein charmant und musikalisch spielen. Gut gemacht, Nubert! Sein Fazit: „Kompakte und ausgereifte Standbox, die auch in größeren Räumen als einzige Besetzung für Musik und Heimkino eine gute Figur macht.“

[Loose translation: "[...] As with every test, it is clear that a well-designed and technically sound loudspeaker always delivers good results – you can tick off each of the sub-disciplines of dynamics, spatial imaging, tonal neutrality and precision, and still have to acknowledge that the speakers go beyond the sum of their individual qualities to deliver an incredibly charming and musical performance. Well done, Nubert! His conclusion: ‘A compact and sophisticated floorstanding speaker that also cuts a fine figure in larger rooms as the sole component for music and home cinema.’

The editors rated the price/performance ratio of the nuJubilee 50 as ‘excellent.’ In addition, the slim active speakers received a ‘top class 1.0’ rating and were honoured with the ‘HiFi Test Sound Tip’ award.
