Steffens 5.1 home cinema
Setup: 5.1
Speakers: nuLine 334, nuLine CS-174, nuLine WS-14, nuLine AW-1100
Electronics: Denon AV Receiver and 70-inch Philips Ambilight TV
Our Questions for Steffen S. on Home Cinema Weeks:
Hello Steffen, thank you for your pictures. What speakers and electronics do you have installed in your home cinema?
As a setup, I have the large nuLine 334 set (plays powerfully and voluminously), Denon AV Receiver, and a 70-inch Philips Ambilight TV.
What fascinates you about home cinema?
You're right in the middle of it instead of just being there. Surround effects all around, and you shouldn't just hear the sub; you should feel the bass. It goes through your stomach, making you feel like you're part of the movie. 😁
Which movie or series should one definitely not miss?
I prefer watching classics and big blockbusters like Star Wars, Kill Bill series, cult Westerns with John Wayne, Louis de Funes movies, and especially The Goonies (I've probably seen the movie at least 200 times; I could recite it by heart).
Mainly visually stunning ones: Lord of the Rings, Avatar, or even Game of Thrones.
Favorite series include Big Bang Theory, Friends, or King of Queens. But there's so much overall; you can't list everything.
I've had some Back to the Future evenings or Hobbit nights. So, you could easily go for about 10 hours straight.
Thank you for the interview.
