Michael Nothnagel, from the trade magazine Audiovision, brought the powerful nuZeo 8w front-firing subwoofer to the editorial office for testing in the 08/2025 issue and immediately had to lower the subwoofer diagram to 10 hertz, because ‘Once again, a subwoofer from Nubert achieves really low cut-off frequencies, with the nuZeo 8W even falling well below the “magic” 20-hertz limit at 17.2 hertz.’

The AV conclusion: ‘Nubert's new XXL subwoofer nuZeo 8W delivers a gala performance in the listening test and easily achieves our reference class. Thanks to its control app, automatic calibration and wireless connection, it is also practical for everyday use.’
