Before connecting and operating the device, carefully read the user manual, particularly the safety instructions. For your own safety, strictly observe all warnings and safety instructions in this manual and on the device. No work other than the described actions should be performed by the user. Keep this document accessible at all times and pass it on to any future owners.

Intended Use

This device is designed exclusively for audio playback in dry indoor environments. Use the device only as described in this manual. Any other use (especially safety-critical or medical applications, outdoor installations like specifically IP-certified products) is considered improper and may result in property damage or personal injury. Nubert electronic GmbH accepts no liability for damages resulting from improper use.

General Notes

Never operate the device unattended!

Danger of Electric Shock!

To avoid the risk of electric shock, the device must not be opened by the user. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Service and repairs are reserved for qualified specialists authorized by Nubert. For service, contact Nubert electronic GmbH!

Danger of Suffocation!

Never let children use or play with the device or packaging unattended! Ensure that children cannot remove any small parts from the device! These parts could be swallowed and cause suffocation. In case of swallowing any parts, contact a doctor immediately!

Risk of Injury or Damage!

When moving the device, handle it with care to avoid injury and damage!

Caution!

Since the device can only be fully switched off by disconnecting it from the power supply, it must be positioned so that you have free access to the USB connection or the power supply. If any of the following conditions occur, the device must be unplugged immediately and disconnected from the mains. Contact Nubert electronic GmbH immediately:

• The device has been damaged or has fallen.
• Cables or plugs are damaged.
• Objects or liquids have entered the device.
• The device was/is exposed to excessive moisture or rain.
• The device does not function properly or shows a significant decrease in performance.
• The device smells burnt, emits smoke, or makes unusual noises.

Use only accessories recommended by Nubert!

Placement Instructions

Caution!

An unstable placement location can lead to damage to the device.

• Place the device on a flat, stable surface and ensure it cannot be knocked over!
• Ensure that no unintended pulling on the cables occurs to avoid knocking over the device or damaging the connection sockets!
• Keep strong mechanical shocks away from the device!

Caution!

Excessive heat buildup inside the device can shorten its lifespan or lead to a fire.

• Never cover the device! Ensure sufficient space and air circulation around the device!
• Do not operate the device or the remote control near heat sources such as radiators or stoves!
• Do not expose the device or the remote control to direct sunlight!
• Never operate burning candles or similar open flames near the device!

Danger of Explosion!

Installation in unsuitable locations can cause explosions. Do not use the device:

• In environments where there is a risk of fire or explosion!
• At extremely low or extremely high temperatures!
• Near flammable gases or vapors!
• In areas with heavy dust!
• Near flammable materials!

Danger of Electric Shock!

The device has no special protection against the intrusion of liquids or objects into the system. There is therefore a risk of electric shock.

• Never touch the device with wet hands!
• Use the device only in a dry location!
• Do not operate it outdoors or in damp rooms!
• Protect the device from all types of liquids, including dripping and splashing water.
• Do not place containers with liquids (e.g., flower vases) on or near the device!
• If the device is moved from a cold environment to a warm room, condensation may form inside. Wait at least 4 hours until the device has reached room temperature and is dry before switching it on!
• Do not use the device during rapid temperature changes!
• No objects or foreign bodies may enter the device.
• If the device comes into contact with liquids or objects enter it, immediately unplug it and contact Nubert electronic GmbH!

Connection Instructions

General Connection Instructions

• Only insert the USB plug of the power supply cable into USB sockets of intended devices such as computers or USB power adapters! Ensure the supply voltage is 5V DC! Do not connect the device to any other power supplies.
• Ensure that all connections are correctly made and all plugs are firmly seated in their sockets before establishing the power supply!
• Disconnect the device from the power supply before making any changes to the system wiring!
• If you want to disconnect connections on the device, always pull on the plug, never on the cable!
• Use only the intended cables and connectors! Otherwise, damage or malfunctions may occur.
• If the device is not used for an extended period or is left unattended, disconnect the power supply. Unplug the power adapter from the socket or the USB cable from the device!
• Use only accessories recommended by Nubert!

Care Instructions

Caution!

• Improper handling of the device may cause damage.
• Always unplug the power adapter from the socket before cleaning the device!
• Clean the device regularly with a soft, slightly damp cloth! For stubborn stains, you can use mild soapy water. Never use harsh cleaning agents or solvents such as petrol, alcohol, or similar substances!
• Before resuming operation, ensure that all connections are correct, there are no short circuits, and both the device and the power adapter are completely dry.
