Details
nuOva tweeter
With the nuLine 334, the tweeter is separated at 2,200 Hz. The nuOva tweeter is a sophisticated high-tech product that has been optimised for minimal resonance. The main reason for this is the damped rear volume chamber, which ensures very fast decay. Your advantage: More details and a clear reproduction of music.
Midrange speaker
The midrange driver of the nuLine 334 works seamlessly below the tweeter in the range from 30 Hz to 23,000 Hz. It uses a flat cone with a compact diameter that combines detailed mids and homogeneous omnidirectional response. Another big advantage is the interaction with the tweeter, which can work even better due to the almost flush surfaces. Your advantage: impressive voice reproduction with precise localisation.
Woofer
The woofer of the nuLine 334 reproduces the bass part of the music or movie and thus relieves the midrange driver. The longstroke technology in combination with a bass reflex port allows the speaker to reproduce a lower cut-off frequency of 30 Hz at almost full level. Your advantage: controlled and linear bass reproduction at all volumes.
Crossover
The crossover is the control centre and heart of the nuLine 334. Durable components ensure accurate reproduction and linear sound for decades. The switches on the back directly influence the crossover, allowing seamless switching between direct or dipole mode. The crossover also features self-resetting fuses that protect the drivers from overload.
Colours
Our nuLine series relies on the high-quality lacquer finishes black and white, which are applied in several layers and sanded again and again for a perfect surface finish with a softline edge. The third option is a real highlight: the real wood veneer in walnut. This makes each model truly unique, just as with our limited Corten Edition to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our constantly improving nuLine series.
Design
In the nuLine series, clear shapes with delicate softline curves give the models a timeless elegance. Acoustic considerations are also at the forefront of the design process, as slightly rounded edges ensure less edge dispersion, as does the asymmetrical arrangement of the tweeters. This is matched by the elaborately calculated metal grille, which has hardly any measurable effect on the sound.

Safety Instructions
- Turn off the amplifier before connecting the speaker cables.
- Ensure the speaker cables are securely connected.
- Place the speakers only in a dry location.
- Do not expose the speakers to direct sunlight.
- Overloading: The nuLine 334 features internal fuses to protect against amplifier overload. However, note that even a weak amplifier can endanger a speaker. At high volumes, weak amplifiers tend to distort, which places extreme stress on the tweeters. If the sound becomes distorted at a certain volume level, reduce the amplifier's volume setting.
- Tipping Hazard: Due to its slim design, the nuLine 334 is at risk of tipping sideways. It should never be used without the supplied traverse feet.
Cold Weather and Sound
If speakers are shipped and delivered during the cold season, they must acclimate to room temperature. Low temperatures significantly affect the moving parts of a speaker box, such as the diaphragm/voice coil, surround, and spider. These components' ability to follow rapid vibrations or make large excursions is severely limited. While not dangerous, “deep-frozen” speakers will not perform at their best acoustically. Our advice: If your new speakers arrive on a cold winter day, give them a few hours to acclimate. Your Nubert speakers will reward you with the outstanding sound quality you rightly expect from us.
Caution with Tall Floor-Standing Grilles:
Due to their delicate construction, these grilles must be unpacked and handled very carefully! Always hold the grille simultaneously at the upper and lower thirds. Avoid bending the grille in the middle under any circumstances!
Connection Instructions
Ensure that your amplifier/receiver is turned off before connecting the speakers. Refer to your amplifier/receiver's user manual for specific connection instructions.
Care and Cleaning Tips
Caution!
Improper handling of the speaker may result in damage.
- Turn off your amplifier before cleaning the speaker and disconnect the speaker cables from the terminal if necessary.
- Before resuming operation, ensure that all connections are correct, no short circuits exist, and the speaker is completely dry.
- Never use harsh cleaning agents or solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, or similar substances.
Cabinet
We recommend using a standard glass cleaner sprayed onto a cotton cloth for cleaning. This will effectively remove most fingerprints and dirt. Alternatively, you can use window cleaning foam. Avoid using microfiber cloths as they may cause micro-scratches. For veneered cabinets, we recommend using appropriate furniture care products.
Membranes and Speaker Drivers
Use a lint-free cotton cloth with gentle pressure to remove dust from the speaker driver. The tweeters in all Nubert speakers are protected by a grille and can also be gently wiped clean. For stubborn dust, a makeup brush from a drugstore can be used.

Einfach super Lautsprecher
Die Lautsprecher habe ich seit zwei Monaten. Ich glaube man kann viel schreiben, ich sage nur eins, schade das ich die nicht früher gekauft habe. Die sind es wert.

nuLine 334
[?] Ich hab?s gewagt, nach 3 Werktagen wurden die beiden nuLine 334 von einem freundlichen Fahrer geliefert. Die beiden Boxen ausgepackt, ein bisschen getüftelt, wo ich sie im Wohnzimmer platzieren sollte und dann angeschlossen. Danach das Wohnzimmer wieder auf Vordermann gebracht, die Bässe und Höhen am Verstärker auf neutral gedreht, ebenso die Höhen- und Tiefen-Schalter an den Boxen auf neutral belassen. Selbst die beiden Bassauslässe der Boxen ließ ich bewusst verschlossen. Ich wollte einfach nur herausfinden, was aus den Boxen kommt, ohne dass der Klang verändert wird. CD eingelegt, auf Play gedrückt, hingesetzt und? ?der Hammer! Von Allen Taylor läuft "The Traveller" und mir Tränen der Freude über?s Gesicht. Worte könnten meine Freude, Begeisterung und meinen Dank nicht beschreiben...

Kurzfazit: - Bestellabwicklung - Verpackung - Service (auch wenn es mal nicht funktioniert) - Verarbeitung - Klang -> TOP! Die nuLine 334 ist ein bass-starker Lautsprecher. Nicht umsonst kann ein Basslautsprecher deaktiviert werden, bzw. die Bassreflexrohre mit den beiliegenden Stopfen verschlossen werden. Wird der Raum aber vorher mittels AV Receiver oder über ein AntiMode 2.0 eingemessen, dann wird der Bass automatisch "schlanker". Die Resonanzen/Moden im Raum werden herausgerechnet. Dann klingt der Bass wunderbar warm, leicht drückend, den Körper umschmeichelnd. Es ist immer wieder eine Freude, dieser Abstimmung zuzuhören. Bei Filmen (7.1) hat der Subwoofer wenig zu tun, da die nuLine hier recht aktiv sind. Trocken und explosiv werden die Effekte in den Raum geschleudert. Der Klang der Mitten und Höhen ist NICHT analytisch und das ist gut so! Ich komme von einem analytischen Lautsprecher und auf Dauer war das doch unangenehm. Die Mitten und Höhen klingen unauffällig. Es fehlt nichts und es gibt keine Übertreibungen. Ich habe die Schalter in Neutral belassen. Coole Abstimmung! Toller Kauf!

Bekomme das Grinsen nicht aus dem Gesicht
Die Nuline 334 ersetzen 2xNu Wave 85 und einen AW-1000 Subwoofer. Und was soll ich sagen, ich vermisse den Subwoofer nicht im geringsten. Sauberer Klang, klare Abbildung der Mitten&Höhen, gute Auflösung der Bühne, druckvolle Bässe. Ich bin mega zufrieden.

Standbox
Tolle Box, je lauter desto besser hört sie sich an. Sehr pegelfest. Schön verarbeitet. Gut verpackt. Schön wäre auch hier wenn man anstelle des dazugehörigen Gitters ein andersfarbiges ordern könnte und eine magnetische Befestigung des Gitters. Habe bei der 334 nur etwas gebraucht die optimale Aufstellung zu finden.

Bassgigant für große Räume
Hat meine Erwartungen im Vergleich zu meinen nuBox 513 und 683 leider nicht ganz erfüllt. Kann aber auch an meinem Raum und Musikmaterial liegen. Ausführlicher habe ich dies im Forum und bei meiner ersten Kaufbewertung zur 334 dargelegt.

nuLine 334
Zunächst einmal vielen Dank für die superschnelle Lieferung für die Nubert nuLine 334. Ich habe diese Boxen am 29.12.2020 bestellt und schon am 05.01.2021 geliefert bekommen. Es waren 2 riesige stabile Kartons von jeweils 45.5kg Als ich diese dann mit einem 2.Mann in die 1. Etage geschleppt hatte und eine kleine Pause gemacht habe, begann ich mit dem Auspacken. Es wurde nicht an Verpackungsmaterial gespart und als ich dann die Boxen ohne Verpackung vor mir sah, war ich sehr überrascht. So eine hochwertige Verarbeitung hatte ich noch nie gesehen, absoluten Respekt. Dann habe ich die Nubert Line 334 an meinen Verstärker Yamaha RX-A2060 angeschlossen und eine Test-CD eingelegt. Ich setzte mich auf meine Wohnlandschaft machte nicht zu laut, startete den CD-Player. Ups.. dann kam die Enttäuschung............................... ich war sehr enttäuscht, dass ich die Nubert Line 334 nicht schon viel, viel eher gekauft habe. Der Klang den ich hörte, war einfach nur geil. Die Höhen, Mitten und der starke Bass, einfach genial und sehr sauber. Anfangs dachte ich wirklich, dass die Leute, die hier geschrieben haben, das wäre alles Fake. Aber ist es nicht, das habe ich jetzt wirklich live erlebt. Diese Boxen sind wirklich Bass stark unglaublich man braucht fast keinen Subwoofer. Ich kann diese Boxen nur empfehlen, man wird nicht enttäuscht. nuLine Standboxen
Was mich bewegt heute hier zu schreiben war der gestrige Abend. Wir haben nur einen Nachbarn und da die gestern über Nacht ausgeflogen waren haben wir mal, noch mehr als sonst schon, aufgedreht. "Mein Gott" Das war der Wahnsinn. Das hat so Spaß gemacht, selbst meine zuerst mit den Lautsprechern nicht so glückliche Freundin (zu groß die Dinger) fing zu tanzen an. Was da rauskommt, genial. Kein bisschen angestrengt, steht?s klar im Ton(pure direct). [?]

nuLine 334
Seit vielen Jahren bin ich vom Musik"hören"Virus befallen. So hörte ich über viele Jahre auf uralten sehr grossen Hornlautsprechern aus den 70er Jahren Musik. 2016 sind wir in eine modernere Mietwohnung umgezogen. Ich dachte gleich, dass der grosse Wohnraum (super, viel mehr Luft zum bewegen) mit 9m L x 4.5 bis 5m B x3.2 bis 3.5m Höhe inkl. Einbauküche toll ist, akustisch es aber ein Problem mit den alten Hornlautsprechern werden könnte. Zudem besteht der Boden aus Fliesen und auf einer Seite eine 6x2 Meter lange Fensterfront ohne Vorhänge. So kam es dann auch, ich war mit dem Klang der knapp 50ig jährigen Horn LS einfach nicht mehr ganz zufrieden. Übers Internet stieß ich auf Nubert, wo ich nach vielem Lesen und recherchieren die nuLine 334, ich neige wohl zu zugrossen LS, bestellte. 1 LS war kam leider transportbeschädigt an. Nach einem freundlichen Telefongespräch wurde sofort ein Ersatz LS geliefert, den defekten konnte ich im gleichen Karton zurücksenden. Super Service. Meine bessere Hälfte war nicht so begeistert, jetzt standen neben den 2 grossen Hornlautsprechern zusätzlich 2 nuLine 334 im Wohnzimmer (PS. alle 4 LS auf einer kurzen Seite des Raums, natürlich an 2 unabhängigen Verstärkern). Ich hörte gleich, meine Frau übrigens auch, die Stimmen der 334 klangen viel feiner und der Bass war sauberer und tiefer. Wunderbar, also alles bestens. Aaaber, für mich klangen die zu sauber, zu fein und die Wucht und das Dramatische fehlte bei höherer Lautstärke. Was habe ich da nicht alles gelesen, "Männerbox", "Bass Royal" usw. Die müssen klanglich doch mehr bringen. Also wie weiter? Boxen weiter weg von der Wand, näher an die Wand, weiter nach innen/Außen. Diverse Verstärker aus meinem über die Jahre angesammelten Fuhrpark angestöpselt/ausprobiert. Einen nuControl 2 bestellt, der gefiel mir etwas besser an der nuLine. Schlussendlich nahm ich es so hin, dass es ziemlich gut klingt, der Raum aber nicht mehr hergibt, ohne dass er unwohnlich wird. Vor etwa 2 Wochen hatte ich frei von der Arbeit und war gerade am "sauber machen". Nach einiger Zeit wurden im Bereich der Stereo Anlage wieder einmal alles (LS/Kabelsalat/Elektronik) entfernt, um auch dort richtig zu cleanen. Na ja, dachte ich, wenn du schon dabei bist, probiere doch mal was Neues aus. Die NuLine einmal auf der Längsseite des Raums aufgestellt und Visavis auf dem Sofa ungefähr im Stereo-Dreieck hingesetzt. Wuuuuuuuumm, aber hallo, ungefähr so können die 334er nuLine also. Ist das möglich? Plötzlich passte alles, egal ob Rock/Klassik/Jazz/"Yello" oder sogar Schweizer Naturjodel. So, die Dinger stehen lassen und auf das Donnerwetter meiner Frau abends gewartet. Hei Schatz, die Raumaufteilung passt mir so viel besser, die nuLines kommen so viel mehr zur Geltung. Verstärker eingeschaltet, eines ihrer Lieblingsstücke angespielt und ich sah meine Frau mit einer Verwunderung, die in eine Begeisterung überging. Als dann ihr absoluter Lieblingssong erklang, konnte ich nur schmunzeln. Ich höre ja auch manchmal gerne laut Musik, aber so laut wie sie hören wollte, drehe ich nie auf. The nuLine 334 is the flagship of the nuLine series. It refines and optimises the best features of this tradition-steeped series. As a result, the nuLine 334 achieves a sound image that is unparalleled in this price and volume class. Despite its acoustical performance, the nuLine 334 is exceptionally slim and elegant, with a width of just 21 centimetres and a height of around 120 centimetres - a characteristic that has already made the nuLine 284 and 264 so popular. Three parallel long-throw woofers, each with a diameter of 18 centimetres, produce powerful and abysmally deep bass down to a lower cut-off frequency of 30 Hertz (-3 decibels). The mid-range is handled by the flat-diaphragm driver with a diameter of twelve centimetres, which has been tried and tested in the series and is distinguished, among other things, by its fine detail and natural voice reproduction. In the upper frequencies, the nuOva silk dome tweeter, which has become the trademark of the series, shines. This complex driver arrangement is driven by an elaborately designed crossover that borrows from the three-way technology of the nuVero series. Together with the intelligent crossover design, the sophisticated chassis combination makes the nuLine 334 a real all-rounder that feels at home in all musical genres and is equally at home with classical music and heavy metal. The nuLine 334 performs with vigour or plays very discreetly - depending on the recording and the requirements. This makes it just as good a choice in a traditional stereo set as, for example, as a front speaker in a home cinema system. Another advantage of the nuLine 334 is its high practicality. For example, it is characterised by a particularly even omnidirectional sound distribution plusminus 30 degrees of the longitudinal axis, but also vertically, which is not a matter of course for a towering three-way floorstanding speaker. In addition, two sound selector switches allow you to adjust the high and low frequency reproduction. This way, the nuLine 334 can be flexibly adjusted to the playing environment or the listening habits of the audience. A great speaker for all requirements! The speakers of the nuLine series are developed in Schwäbisch Gmünd and manufactured according to our specifications at a traditional specialist company for sound furniture construction in Germany.
Construction principle and housing
Three-way floorstanding speaker in bass reflex design. The two bass reflex ports are located at the rear of the cabinet, which is why the speaker should be placed at least three centimetres away from a rear wall. The high sound quality of the nuLine 334 is realised with the filter optimisation of the three-way principle taken from our top series nuVero. In this way, the Nubert development team succeeds in significantly increasing the sound purity of conventional three-way designs, especially in the critical mid-range, while at the same time exploiting the fundamental advantage of a more even horizontal dispersion pattern. The very elaborately manufactured cabinet is made of 19 to 38 mm thick veneered or multi-layer lacquered MDF material and is manufactured by an experienced sound furniture specialist in Germany. It has precisely calculated internal stiffeners and damping elements that effectively reinforce the stability of the already quite solid cabinet walls and effectively prevent sound-damaging natural resonances. To ensure that the rear sound components of the woofers and the midrange driver do not interfere with each other, the midrange driver has its own, acoustically precisely tuned inner cabinet. The elegant solid metal crossbar feet give the speaker a delicate appearance and a stable stand.

In the tweeter range, the proven nuOva tweeter with optimised sound guidance and an elaborately damped rear volume chamber is used. Its acoustically optimised sound front makes it possible to further increase the differences in distance between the dome and the cabinet edges compared to the previous asymmetrical Nubert tweeters, which further reduces the edge dispersion in the axial direction and noticeably increases the clarity in the high frequency range. The asymmetrical arrangement of the tweeters means that a "right" and a "left" speaker is always supplied.
Midrange speaker
As with the sister models nuLine 284 as well as 264, Nubert uses a flat membrane chassis. At the beginning of the development work it was confirmed that flat membranes were more susceptible to disturbing partial vibrations than similarly sized cone membranes. By fine-tuning multi-layer diaphragms, which have a honeycomb structure, it was possible to shift the disturbing natural resonances step by step to much higher frequency ranges, where the radiation is almost completely through the tweeter. Unlike cone speakers, the majority of this optimised midrange driver is flush with the baffle, creating a favourable environment for the adjacent tweeter, which benefits the dispersion characteristics.
Woofer
The nuLine 334 uses a total of three 18-centimetre high-performance bass drivers operated in parallel. This woofer system, equipped with unusually strong magnets, enables an optimum ratio of large diaphragm excursion, maximum bass response and amplifier-friendly efficiency. The result is a heavy-duty long-stroke woofer with a polypropylene diaphragm that can deflect up to 30 millimetres in extreme cases. The six woofers of a pair of nuLine 334 together correspond to the diaphragm area of a large subwoofer, which makes it clear why this speaker has such a powerful bass foundation. Furthermore, the vertical arrangement of the woofers reduces the occurrence of room resonances (technical term "modes") between the floor and the ceiling.
Crossover
The crossover of the nuLine 334 is a masterpiece in itself when it comes to filter technology. Here, the signals arriving from the amplifier are divided into three frequency ranges with particular precision using special crossover technology, while the drivers receive their final sonic polish via sophisticated compensation circuits. In order to realise the typical Nubert quality standards, no less than 52 high-quality components were necessary, including close-tolerance film capacitors in the midrange and treble range. The low crossover frequency at 2.2 kHz frees the midrange driver from higher frequencies and, in conjunction with the deliberately small design, ensures an exceptionally wide dispersion pattern. An efficient protection circuit watches over the safety of the drivers and the crossover. If there is a risk of thermal overload, it cuts the amplifier current and automatically returns to normal operation once the danger has passed.
Switching options
The upper switch between the terminals of the terminal allows a threefold modification of the high-frequency range from "soft" to "neutral" to "brilliant", which allows the speaker to be individually adapted to different living rooms with more or less textile sound damping or personal listening preferences. With the second tone selector switch, the bass level can be moderately lowered. This switch option ensures that an undesired increase in bass level can be compensated for when the speaker is placed close to a wall. By closing one or both reflex tubes, the bass level can be further attenuated. The combination of closing the BR tubes or activating the bass switch thus enables a total of six different sound variants of the bass reproduction.
Connection terminal
The extremely solid, gold-plated screw terminals of the bi-wiring terminal are also suitable for cables with a very large cross-section. The terminal screws also allow for optional speaker cable connection with banana plugs or nuCable Exclusiv. Bi-wiring terminals allow the tweeter and low/midrange to be connected separately to the amplifier. A measure that can prevent sound loss with long cable lengths. In addition, the sound selector switches described above are located on the terminal.
