Details
B-Stock
These speakers are marked as B-goods because they have clearly visible optical defects (see example photos). They are in their original packaging, technically fully functional and undergo an extensive quality inspection.
Example 1
There may be major scratches, scores or dents in the case. For comparison: The arrows in the photos are 8 millimetres wide.
Example 2
Paint abrasions on a display item. Such optical defects can also be present several times next to each other or on several sides.
Example 3
Other paint defects. By clever placement, such as next to a cupboard or by attaching the standard front cover, many of the defects can be concealed visually.

- Turn off the amplifier before connecting the speaker cables.
- Ensure the speaker cables are securely connected.
- Place the speaker only in a dry location.
- Do not expose the speakers to direct sunlight.
- Overload: The nuLine CS-64 has internal protections against amplifier overload. However, note that even a weak amplifier can damage a speaker. At high volume levels, weak amplifiers tend to distort, which can place extreme stress on tweeters. If the sound reproduction becomes distorted at a certain point, please reduce the volume on your amplifier.
Cold Weather and Sound
When speakers are shipped and delivered during the cold season, they must adjust to the indoor room temperature before use. Low temperatures significantly affect the moving parts of a speaker, such as the diaphragm/voice coil, surround, and centering spider. These components' ability to follow rapid vibrations or make large excursions is severely limited. While this is not dangerous, "frozen" speakers will not deliver their optimal sound performance. Therefore, our tip: If your new speakers arrive on a cold winter day, give them a few hours to acclimatize. Your Nubert speakers will reward you with the outstanding sound quality you rightly expect from us.
Connection Instructions
Please ensure that your amplifier/receiver is turned off before connecting the speakers. Refer to the amplifier/receiver's user manual for detailed instructions on connecting the speakers.
Care and Cleaning Tips
Warning!
Improper handling of the speaker may cause damage.
- Turn off your amplifier before cleaning the speaker and disconnect the speaker cables from the terminals if necessary!
- Before resuming operation, ensure all connections are correct, no short circuits are present, and the speaker is completely dry!
- Do not use harsh cleaning agents or solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, or similar substances!
Cabinet
We recommend using a commercial glass cleaner sprayed onto a cotton cloth. This easily removes most fingerprints and dirt. Alternatively, you can use active foam window cleaners. We advise against using microfiber cloths as they can cause small scratches on the surface. For veneered cabinets, use appropriate furniture care products.
Diaphragms and Speaker Chassis
To remove dust from a speaker chassis, use a lint-free cotton cloth to gently wipe the diaphragm with minimal pressure. The tweeters of all Nubert speakers are equipped with protective grilles, allowing them to also be wiped gently. If the dust cannot be completely removed, a makeup brush from a drugstore works well.
