In 1970, Technics revolutionised the turntable industry with the world’s first direct drive. Unlike conventional belt drives, our direct drive minimises motor-induced vibrations, ensuring an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio and long-term reliability without frequent part replacements.
The chassis of the SL-1500C features a housing construction similar to that used in high-end turntables to prevent vibrations. The result is music reproduction in its full beauty and authenticity.
