MC Quintet Blue
The Quintet Blue offers a very homogeneous sound.
Compared to the Quintet Red, the reproduction of the Quintet Blue is somewhat softer and dynamically somewhat more moderate than that of the Quintet Bronze.
It has an elliptical naked scanning diamond mounted on an aluminum needle carrier. The Quintet Blue adds a great deal of space, depth and detail to the sound and is suitable for all types of music, especially rhythmic music.
Degree of accuracy
The MC Quintet series is in line with Ortofon's relentless pursuit to provide the most precise and accurate reproduction without sound coloration:
- A special PC thermoplastic material is used to manufacture the cartridge body. This lightweight, impact-resistant material is very well suited to the injection molding process and offers a very durable, scratch-resistant surface.
- Neodymium magnets are implemented to achieve an optimum output voltage.
- The low internal resistance makes the cartridge less sensitive to the load and therefore ensures compatibility with the widest range of preamplifiers and transformers.
The MC Quintet Blue adds even more detail and resolution, but in a very balanced way that pays respect to all elements.
