The Next EVO Generation
The Debut EVO 2 is the latest addition to the popular Debut series. It features the outstanding Pick it MM EVO cartridge, which is perfectly pre-mounted at the factory onto a one-piece 8.6-inch carbon tonearm with a revised gimbal bearing for low friction and maximum stability. The newly designed RCA output box is now integrated into the plinth, emphasising the Debut EVO’s clean aesthetic.
Top-tier materials and exceptional manufacturing quality, thanks to assembly in Europe, make this turntable not only an excellent audiophile companion for your record collection but also a true eye-catcher in your living room.
Premium Tonearm
The Debut EVO 2 turntable features a high-quality 8.6-inch carbon fibre tonearm with a solid aluminium bearing structure. The low-friction tonearm bearing guarantees precise, stable, and accurate tracking. Carbon fibre gives the tonearm high rigidity while keeping the weight very low. The one-piece design of tonearm and headshell prevents unwanted resonances and offers a solid connection to the cartridge. This superbly crafted tonearm delivers incredible sound quality with a convincing soundstage.
Heavy, Damped Aluminium Platter
The 1.7 kg die-cast aluminium platter undergoes an additional machining and fine-balancing process. The heavy platter features an internal ring of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), which dampens resonances and minimises wow and flutter.
The Debut EVO 2 platter is non-magnetic, allowing you to use MC cartridges and upgrade to True Balanced technology.
The separately available Record Puck E offers an extra level of damping and stability, making it the perfect companion.
Height-Adjustable, Damped Feet
The new Debut EVO 2 stands on three height-adjustable, damped feet to ensure perfect positioning. By using three feet, we increase stability on uneven surfaces – a perfectly levelled turntable is essential for true high-end sound.
The New Pick it MM EVO
The new Pick it MM EVO cartridge completes the Debut EVO 2 in every respect. It complements the lightweight tonearm not only in sound but also in appearance. The cartridge system combines unique technologies and features a very flat frequency response comparable to MC cartridges.
Premium DC/AC Power Generator
A switching power supply powers the precise AC generator located inside the turntable, which creates an entirely new sine wave to drive the motor with maximum speed stability.
The Upgrade for Your Phono Setup
A clean and stable power supply is essential for your phono setup. The included power supply already offers a solid foundation, but we go even further. The Power Box S3 Phono powers both the Debut EVO 2 and a Pro-Ject phono preamplifier. Its dual outputs are specifically designed for operating Pro-Ject turntables and phono preamps.
The advanced DC filtering can have a dramatic effect on sound quality. In addition to sonic improvements, the Power Box S3 Phono also offers users a tidier cable solution by avoiding power supply and cable clutter.
