Our questions to Stephan L. about Home Cinema Weeks:
Hello Kai, thank you very much for your pictures. Which speakers and electronics do you have installed in your home cinema, and why did you choose this particular setup?
As mentioned, SP-200 with XW-800 slim. SP-200 because it has everything included, like the translation from multichannel Dolby to stereo. I also wanted to have Voice+ no matter what. When it's not supposed to be too loud. The XW-800... In a small home, you don't really need a sub with the SP-200. But it rounds things out, especially when you don't turn on Loudness. Loudness is always off for me now. The previous X-3000 had a bit more appeal in terms of sound, I love what the tweeters reveal, but unfortunately, something was missing. And there wasn't the nuXinema preAV to complement what was missing yet. For music, I have the Argon Audio Solo connected, which is okay.
What makes the fascination of home cinema for you?
I simply enjoy watching movies and series. And good sound is always important. Otherwise, it's not enjoyable at all. And not just when it's supposed to be loud.
Which movie or series should one definitely not miss?
There are plenty of cool movies. Do I have to narrow it down? Currently... I occasionally read that the series THE BEAR on Disney isn't getting much attention. Watch this series.
Thank you very much for the interview.
