The principles of highest precision are already applied to the entry-level units. The model series starts with the CS 418, in which some of the high-quality components of the larger models have already been installed. The Ortofon 2M Red cartridge and a switchable MM phono preamplifier are integrated into the complete package. The CS 418 not only impresses with its excellent price-performance ratio, but also inspires with a balanced sound experience at a high level.

Connections and operation
Due to the integrated phono preamplifier, the Dual CS-418 is very easy to integrate into an existing hifi setup. For those who prefer to connect an external equalizer / preamplifier, the integrated can also be switched off.

Safety Instructions for Handling the Power Adapter
The power adapter may only be connected to a mains voltage of 100–240 V~, 50/60 Hz. Never operate the power adapter with a different voltage.
- Only use the supplied power adapter.
- Connect the power adapter only after the installation has been completed correctly.
- Only connect the device to a properly installed and grounded mains socket. The mains voltage must match the specifications stated on the device's rating plate.
- The power outlet should be located as close as possible to the device.
- Avoid using multiple socket outlets. Ensure that the power cord and plug are always easily accessible so that the device can be quickly disconnected from the power supply.
- Route the power cord in such a way that nobody can trip over it.
- Insert the power adapter fully into the power outlet.
- Do not touch the power adapter with wet hands; risk of electric shock.
- If the power adapter is defective or if the device shows any other signs of damage, it must not be operated.
- Do not unplug the power adapter by pulling on the cable.
- The device remains connected to the mains supply even when switched off. Unplug the power adapter from the outlet if the device will not be used for an extended period of time.
- In the event of malfunctions or if smoke or unusual odors are emitted from the housing, immediately unplug the power adapter from the outlet.
