At the beginning of November I bought the NuBox 681 and an AW-991 subwoofer. I was looking for a replacement for my old Bose 301 and was looking for something with more bass volume. During my online research I came across Nubert, I didn't know the manufacturer before. I took a closer look at the website because of the numerous positive reviews and the statements in forums about the speakers.

The fact that I could take the speakers home for 30 days and return them if I didn't like them was the final argument for buying the speakers. Yes and the proximity, only about 60km to Nubert, so I thought I could pick up the speakers myself and save the postage.

So I ordered by phone for collection. On November 5th I picked up the speakers, we were already standing in front of my station wagon (Ford Focus Turnier) for a few minutes and had to think about how to get the speakers and AW-991 in, they are already huge in their packaging.

At home, of course, I immediately connected the speakers. Even before I switched on the system, I thought the speakers had to go back. They seemed far too big to me. At first I didn't like the look of the speakers in my living room, and I didn't even want to think about the fuss my wife would make when she came home.

Then I switched the system on. The first impression was good, but the bass was lacking. No steam and somehow unclean. After trying them out for an hour, I was sure I would return the speakers.

Then I remembered that I had test tones, 100Hz, in-phase and 180 degrees out-of-phase. What can I say, the out-of-phase 100Hz blew me away. Speakers connected with reversed polarity, how can that happen????

So I corrected the polarity, switched the amplifier back on, set everything to start and from that moment on I didn't want to give the speakers back.

I rediscover my CD and record collection. What comes out is great. I can't describe it, you just have to hear it for yourself.

I don't think Nubert often gets speakers back, unless someone connects them to vepolt.

I mainly use the AW-991 for BlueRay/DVD, and there it also delivers an absolutely convincing performance.

I've been a very satisfied Nubert customer for 6 years (NuLine 30 + ATM and NuWave 35 on the TV). But now I needed something better and bought a NuVero 4 8 days ago. As always with Nubert, delivery was prompt and the speakers were very well packaged...by the way, the packaging is very easy to reuse as it is not a "polystyrene puzzle". 😬
The first thing you notice is the very good workmanship....top lacquered front (in my case in mocha) and cleanly embedded terminals and chassis.after connecting the speakers to my system (Primare CD 21 which will have to give way to a Destiny HD 26 in January... Acurus LS 11 Pre + Pioneer M73 power amplifier, these parts will probably be replaced by a Jungson JA 88 D + In-Akustik Black & White 1202 cabling ), I first put a CD on repeat and let the speakers warm up for about 5 hours. After the first real listening session with CDs I knew well, I felt as if I could enjoy them to the full for the first time! An almost perverse resolution, clarity and realistic representation of instruments.... this is what the very best monitors sound like! The bass is unbelievably good for this cabinet size, goes very deep (even in neutral) and has real pressure! Some floorstanding speakers have problems with this....! 😱
As a "point of criticism", "delicate" minds could evaluate the extreme neutrality...nothing is glossed over, bad recordings or highly compressed MP-3 material sound as they are, namely SHIT.... !!
Jungson amps are recommended as good playing partners..... have a JA 88 E on the TV for only 400 ?...a real bargain, the large JA 88 D in pure Class A is therefore probably my next amp. Goes very well with the Nubi's ! 😂
Conclusion: once Nubert, always Nubert!

I fulfilled a long-cherished wish in early summer. After a telephone consultation, the following constellation was ready in the Aalen hearing studio:
- NuVero 11
- ATM module
- Cambridge Audio Azur 740A Amplifier
- Cambridge Audio Azur 740C CD player
With my own CD collection, the system was put to the sound test with the result of the purchase (with the exception of the 740C, I wanted to wait for the new Cambridge Blue Ray Player) after 1 hour of listening. I prefer the Nuvero11 visually, so I only listened to the Nuvero14 briefly for the sake of interest.
Instead of the 740C CD player, I took the Cambridge Audio NP30 Internet radio with me, which in retrospect was the best spontaneous purchase of my life (I already have 2 Internet radios myself, which are now in the bathroom and cellar).
At home I was impressed by the aesthetics and sound, especially the quiet listening even in our 60sqm living/dining area is fantastic. However, my previous Denon CD player disappointed in comparison with the Aalen Hörstudio experience. How good that I bought the NP30. Since my CD collection is already digitally available via a WLAN hard disk in the cellar, the NP30 also dialed into it with the result that my digital CD collection is available with an unprecedented sonic conciseness.
However, I use Internet radio (UuVol, that's all I need to say) as my music source 95% of the time, and after a quick search you can really find highlights here (24/7 without advertising with 128-256kb/s streaming), which really is a high-end sound experience. Thank you Nubert team for the configuration, 4 out of 5 guests spontaneously ask how the sound comes about and as I said, usually at a very low volume, although of course I confirm this rule from time to time with strong exceptions). P.S Our living room no longer has a TV.

My smaller wallet allowed me to buy loudspeakers for around 500 euros. After some research on the Internet, I decided on Nubert, specifically the Nubox 481. A great consultation by e-mail and prompt delivery made my heart happy even before the first listen. The floorstanding speakers themselves fit elegantly into the existing furniture. I am completely thrilled with the sound that these speakers produce. I would not have thought it possible for such sounds to come out of the speakers in this price range. I can now hear things that were previously hidden from me. I can now separate instruments and they no longer sound so washed out. Even with classical music. It gives me a completely new goosebump feeling. Thanks to the Nubert team. I can't imagine that there are better loudspeakers for 500 euros.

I don't think there are any tests or reviews by numerous recognized experts and committees that don't go into raptures and are enthusiastic about these loudspeakers. They use terms and words that end in superlatives when it comes to evaluating the nuPro A-20.
I can only confirm this and will not look for clever words or original terms to describe these speakers. Buy them, listen to them enthusiastically and never want to give them away again, that is my advice to all those who want to make a very good investment and get maximum value for money. For me it's already Christmas and it won't be any different in the next few years, I'm glad that I bought these LS, greetings Petiwa

I too have been the happy owner of a pair of 481s including ATM for a week now. I had been thinking about buying decent floorstanding speakers again for a long time, as I was increasingly fed up with this laptop/MP3 music "listening" or with satellite systems that were cheap in every respect due to the noisy and imprecise reproduction. I was on my way back to HiFi, so to speak. I used to mix live sound and am therefore very familiar with loudspeakers and everything that goes with them.
During my research, I also came across Nubert (again) and ordered the Nubert 481 due to the many positive reviews. The whole process was completely unproblematic.

And I have to say, the precision and ease with which these speakers perform is amazing. I had completely "dried out" in terms of clean music playback over the last 15 years and I am almost euphoric about organizing my CD collection again and listening to some of it in a completely new way.
I was very skeptical about the ATM. But here, too, I was completely blown away by the sound quality it produces. The deep bass with this dryness and precision is simply insane for this size.

A big thank you to the whole Nubert team, you have a new loyal customer who will recommend you at any time - that's for sure. Keep up the good work!

Hello dear readers and Nubert team

I didn't really want to immortalize myself here, but I just have to get something off my chest after my last order ❗

I've been a Nubert customer since the end of 2009, when I was actually looking for a 2.1 set for my PC. Well, lo and behold, today I'm sitting in the center of a 5.1 Nubox set 😬

EVERY EURO WAS WORTH IT!!!!
Simply amazing what sound I can enjoy!
Big thanks to Nubert

p.s I got the icing on the cake the day before yesterday. The ATM for my 381s. And to make a long story short... I could bite myself in the a.... that I bought this last. Top class, this little wonder box!

I recently purchased a Nubox set :
nuBox 511
nuBox CS-411:
nuBox DS-301:
nuBox AW-991:

Quite honestly ----Madness. What comes out of this really affordable set is breathtaking in terms of both sound and dynamics. The bass is scary and the effects on a Blueray are spectacular. And by the way, the system plays stereo music super neutrally and clearly.

It doesn't get any better for the money. I'm really impressed.

Addendum to the comment from 21.04.2011 22:05:
I've retired my Denon PMA-425 and bought a Pioneer A-616 Mark II to go with my pair of Nubox 481s. The device is around 20 years old, but it's like new, no dust, the front is like yesterday and it sounds simply fabulous. 😬
I used to think that the Denon was pushing it, but now I (and my relatives) have to realize that watts can only be replaced by more watts. What the 2x120 of the Pio unleash is absolutely fantastic. It pushes a pound that makes your heart beat faster. You can literally feel the power being converted into fundamental waves. When Fritz Kalkbrenner, Stephan Bodzin and the like are on, the bass shocks anyone who hasn't heard it before... I bathe in brilliant deep tones. But the girls like Adele, Alison Moyet or Gloria Estefan also come across perfectly, these voices...it's pure pleasure - acoustically speaking. Once again, I was amazed: the speakers are simply equal to any onslaught on the voice coils. Nothing booms, nothing hisses, music as it was intended and as it should be. Compliments to H. Nubert.
Insider tip: for structure-borne sound below the belt, make sure you put something powerful in front of the speakers. That'll do the trick!

It took me a few months to order my 511 with Atm module.
But as a newcomer to this hi-fi hobby, it is very difficult, especially at the beginning, to recognize the truth and the differences between the individual pieces of information.
Because a lot of things are in the dark. So you have to read a lot to understand a little!

But thank God I decided in favor of Nubert !!!

Where you can always find someone to talk to, even after you've bought the speakers!

Now I finally have what I've had in my head for a long time.
The basses, the sound, simply a beautiful sound that never gets boring and handles the sounds the way I wanted it to!

The 511 is already good without the module, but with the module there is the jaaaaaaaaa efect!

Thanks to Nubert, I can concentrate more on the music and not just the technology!

Yours sincerely

Martin.E
