Hello, I would like to give you a report on my Nu line 100 with modul. the consultation was short and good as I thought at the time (2002). My first question was about the performance of my marantz pm 17 MK2 M. The extremely nice and competent consultant said yes, that would be a great combination. Boxes, module, pm 17 and cd 17 connected. Yes, it was nothing, the treble was hard and biting, the bass spongy. Maybe the speakers need a long break-in period, I thought. Unfortunately not. I kept the speakers anyway (fortunately). My hifi hobby played a rather subordinate role over the next 8 years. In january 2010 i discovered a Marantz sm-17 on e-bay. i bought it at auction and connected it immediately. I couldn't believe my ears - was this my system? I thought the sound was perfect, the treble was clear without being harsh, the bass was dry as dust. It couldn't be better, I thought. Oh yes, but I read in the sm 17's data sheet that btl operation is possible with 2 sm 17s. I had to get a second sm 17. no problem thanks to e-bay. with a pm 17 supplying the mid and high frequencies and two sm 17s each supplying the bass range as mono, my nu line 100 sounded like something from another planet. Friends who also deal with hi-fi were speechless. Nubis need power, throw out the bridges and bi-amping is the order of the day. Nu line 100 my absolute dream loudspeaker. Greetings Alex

Some time ago, after I had refurnished my home, I decided to buy my first high-quality loudspeakers. At some point I came across the Nubert homepage and was very impressed: clearly structured product families, intuitive operation and an unpretentious appearance. Great! The former in particular is an absolute exception on the loudspeaker market!
Due to the compact dimensions of my listening room and the look, I decided on two NuLook LS2s connected to the Yamaha RX 797 amplifier (often mentioned in the forum) and CDX 497 CD player.
Many people report that their speakers overwhelmed them as soon as they heard the first pluck of a guitar string. It was different for me: everything was frantically wired up, the speakers placed on the stands, CD inserted... And... Disappointment! I'd never heard a real stereo system before, having grown up with PC speakers, compact systems and MP3 players.
Because of all the buzz in the hi-fi scene, I apparently had the wrong expectations: pronounced three-dimensionality, gives voices body, plays tight and direct, the sounds bubble gently out of the chassis... I took these (non-Nubert) descriptions of good speakers literally and expected to be impressed.
If you are looking for spectacular effect speakers, Nubert seems to be in the wrong place.
Over the course of the following two weeks, I became increasingly familiar with the "tonal character" of the NuLook. I heard details that I hadn't noticed before and also adapted my taste in music to a certain extent (towards genres with a more appealing sound, I discovered singer-songwriter music in particular).
I have to disagree with all those who fear that the NuLook would inevitably be too narrow-chested in stereo mode.

Originally, I just wanted to upgrade the music playback in my room and therefore decided to go for the visually appealing NuLooks. I had no idea that this would change my entire leisure behavior. Accordingly, I made a visual downgrade (at no great extra cost), but an upgrade in terms of sound and brought the NuJubilee and ATM into my home (after extensive trial listening in a few specialist stores; I'm keeping the speakers, I'm unsure about the ATM due to my room acoustics). I like the generally smoother high-frequency reproduction and the punch in the kick bass. To celebrate, I bought some new CDs, of which I particularly liked Ani DiFranco's Reprieve (especially the song Nicotine).

The next updates will be to the room acoustics (DIY absorbers in the corners, bought ones on the back and side walls), so it will be some time before I buy new speakers.

The article probably sounds more sober than it is meant to be, because I'm really impressed...!

Nubert for the second time,
First of all, many thanks to Günther Nubert and his team for their service, information and delivery. I bought a pair of nubox 381s about 3 years ago and they were great.
The new Jubilee 35 arrived on Thursday, which is a different world for the price, simply brilliant. Now I'm tempted to buy the subwoofer as well. At the moment, my old canton as 20 is still in play. But I have more confidence in the Nubertwoofer because of its adjustment options. By using the woofer at a separation of 80 Hertz, the jubilee 35s blossom even more. After 30 years of hifi hobby and the experiences I have made, I am highly satisfied. Of course, it has to be said that the high quality of these loudspeakers can only be exploited if the electronics and the room allow it. if it doesn't sound good, it's definitely not because of the loudspeakers.
For me, what Günther Nubert and his team have achieved here is absolutely outstanding.
Many thanks again.

Yours sincerely

So, the wait has been over since Wednesday. The NuBox 511 is here. After 3 days of setting up, listening, optimizing and rebuilding, the two beauties have found their final place. All family members are delighted, and that's saying something.
The sound is absolutely thrilling. Although Nubi in Gmünd certainly uses much higher quality equipment, I am absolutely thrilled. Fantastically spacious sound, brilliant highs with the speakers in the top position, and the Nubert subwoofer, which is still present, stays on because it provides a sensational bass foundation.
Cheap CDs are mercilessly demonstrated, quickly separating the wheat from the chaff. Even the sound via the tuner is simply terrific.
So all good and nothing to complain about at all, pure enthusiasm !!!
In terms of constructive criticism, however, I would like to say the following: After reading in all forums about delivery times within 24 hours, I sold my NuLIne 30 on Ebay and now had to borrow speakers for almost 5 weeks to be able to listen to music at all. No loan boxes for existing customers. What a pity. Some people might have simply ordered other speakers and returned them after 4 weeks, but I thought that was unfair.
And I asked several times when they would finally be delivered and then unfortunately didn't receive the promised callback - also a shame.
And as a sales manager I say: my / our customers would certainly get a corresponding "treat" after such a waiting time - let's see, maybe something will happen.
So enough complaining, now they are here and will hopefully give pleasure for a long time.

We are truly sorry that you have had to wait for your speaker delivery! In the nu's Letter and in the nuForum we have already explained the current shortage of components and the resulting procurement problems several times. We are therefore already under a lot of stress and ask for your understanding if we are unable to send "sweets" to all patient customers. We would just like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU for your patience!

You offer real three-star service for a very good price. I am more than satisfied and will recommend Nubert at any time. it's been fun and enjoyable to listen to music again for a long time, and I always thought I already had something good at home (Canadian manufacturer). Nubert exceeds my expectations by far.

PS: there was such a note with my speakers...as if Mr. Nubert thanks you for the purchase...No Mr. Nubert, thank you for such a good product!

Dear Nubert Team

After 3 months of owning 2 NuVero 7 loudspeakers, here is a brief summary.
The speakers are used exclusively in stereo mode with Yamaha components from the
700 series.
The reproduction of music, if the recording allows it, is analytically clear and precise.
clear and precise, an excellent resolution is audible.
The treble reproduction is brilliant and can be easily adjusted to suit personal taste and the room.
personal taste and the room.
The bass performance is amazing and should be sufficient for the vast majority of applications.
The speakers stand on stone plinths, approx. 20 cm high and are slightly tilted backwards.
tilted backwards. The distance from the wall (also adjustable via rear switches) is approx. 10 cm.
The proximity to the wall is no problem at all, as promised during the telephone consultation.

The discussions and advice on the phone were first-class and, in my opinion, go far
far more than just wanting to sell. The dispatch went just as
smoothly and rounded off the picture just as positively.
I wish you all the best for the future.

ABL module croaks like a raven without bass . . .
Called Nubert, described the problem, one day later the world was musically in order for me again.
This service is definitely unbeatable: friendly, competent, fast and uncomplicated.

More is not possible!!!

Hello!

For Christmas I bought myself a pair of nuVERO5
for the front and the nuVERO7 for the center...

Now I want to buy some rear speakers as well.

Is it better if I use the two nuVERo5 as rear speakers and buy the nuVero4 for the front, or is it better if I have the nuVero5 front and rear?

Please help!

Moin,

I've been the (proud) owner of a pair of nuLine 102s in white for a good 4 weeks now.
They are connected to a Cambridge 740A, with signals supplied by a Cambridge 740C or a Rega P3 24 in conjunction with the Cambridge 640P phono preamplifier.
(The English may not be able to play soccer, but they have a real knack for hi-fi '😬')
In the forums and test reports, there is always discussion about the upgraded bass performance of the nuLine 102, so I was almost a little skeptical as to whether these speakers have enough bass performance, but more on that later.
There is only one thing to say about workmanship and customer service: perfect!
Before I evaluated these speakers, I gave them plenty of time to break in with all types of music and volume levels. This was really necessary as their sound continuously improved and harmonized. (switch position neutral).
I listen to almost any kind of music with a slight emphasis on jazz and blues, but I am quite demanding when it comes to recording quality. This applies to both vinyl and CD.
In terms of placement, I use the supplied feet with the felt coasters, as the speakers stand on old floorboards.
The first thing that strikes you about the nuLine 102's sound is its neutrality. Nothing is glossed over, overemphasized or attenuated. Just as it should be and, in my opinion, must be.
The sound image is always clearly structured and the instruments and voices are excellently detached from the speakers. The bass performance is absolutely coherent. When bass is required from the recording, the nuLine 102 knows no mercy (music tip: Soja Born in Babylon). I simply can't understand all this talk about more bass. Highs are reproduced crystal clear and the transition to mids and bass is harmonious and realistic. The nuLine 102 reproduces all types of music neutrally and sounds even better loud than quiet.
I can only advise anyone interested to connect high-quality hi-fi components, as the Nuline 102s have monitor qualities and can only reproduce the signal quality that is fed to them.
After a long search, I have finally found the last link in my new hi-fi stereo chain.
Many thanks to the Nubert team.
