I wanted to thank NSF for the fact that I have a cute little system running on my PC.
Mr. M. Bühler and T. Bien gave me the tip to test the DS-301 in combination with the Dynavox CS-PA 1 and E-SA 18 mini amps.
My conclusion: Both amplifiers are really very well suited for PC operation. They also don't take up much space on the desk. In the end, I opted for the E-SA 18 because it has automatic input signal recognition. Which is of course an advantage with 2 PCs.
I don't need to write much more about the sound. Now I know how good the speakers are. The amp may be small, but it has enough power to easily fill a 20 square meter room with sound. This combination is worth a recommendation!!!
You could also use the amplifier with the NuBox 311 direct radiator. This is just as good or possibly even better than the DS-301. I only chose the DS-301 because I need a smaller speaker than the 311.
A test report will be published in the NuForum!!!
Greetings

First of all, many thanks for the detailed description on the homepage, in the forum and in the customer comments. This has all helped me in my decision to buy the NuBox381. I originally became aware of Nubert through my work colleague, who is already a convinced Nubi fan.
At the beginning of the year, I bought my new Onkyo TX-SR505E digital AV receiver, and all that was missing were the right speakers.
After extensive research and reading experience reports, comments etc., I decided on the NuBox381.
Ordered on Wednesday morning and delivered the very next day, Thursday afternoon. 100 points 🙂 That was really quick!
After I had unpacked the speakers and set them up/positioned them accordingly, it was time for extensive testing.
I have to say, it's really impressive how pure and clear the sound reproduction is. I dug out a few old CDs of mine that are very heavy on drums and guitars (e.g. Sigi Schwab & Percussion Project - Session 2000; Guns'N Roses - The Spaghetti Incident).
It was and is impressive to hear how clear and detailed the instruments can be reproduced, especially on Sigi Schwab's CD. It's almost like a live concert. This makes listening to music fun.
The speakers also sound great with DVDs, both with loud and quiet scenes. My LOTR collection had to hold out for a few listening tests 🙂.
Here, too, the speakers impressed me: voices, dialog etc. were always clear during the action scenes, but also during quiet scenes, and the bass from the speakers could be felt here and there.
At the moment I'm still considering whether it would make sense to buy an ABL module for the NuBox 381. Especially during the action scenes in LOTR, where the bass started to resonate, it sometimes didn't get deep enough or it seemed as if the bass was a little sluggish. It would therefore be interesting to know what the ABL module does.
All in all, the investment in the two NuBox 381s was 100% worthwhile. Over the next few days, I'll "play around" a bit with the various settings and measurements on my amplifier to see if I can get even more out of the speakers 🙂.
Many thanks and praise to the Nubert team and to the numerous people who have "immortalized" themselves in your forum. Keep up the good work.

Good morning Nubert Team
I have owned the Nubox 311 for a few months now.
I am very satisfied so far. Now I've treated myself to the AW441
Now I'm gobsmacked. What you can achieve with this combination is awesome!!!!!
Now connected the Nubox 311 downwards with the "less clean connection method" (according to the operating instructions*) and the slight discoloration has disappeared. Spatiality has increased by 50%
The AW441 is the best and fits perfectly with the 311s. You get the impression of having much larger speakers in front of you. The sound impression is dry, super clean, not to mention warm.
Greetings Ralf

😂 Hello Nubert team
Thank you very much for the advice in Aalen from Mr. Lothar Schneider.
I have chosen two Nuwave 35 and an AW-550 from you and am using them with my Harman / Kardon AVR- 3000. Everything is really great, you would think there are two full-grown floorstanding speakers in the room. The workmanship of both the speakers and the stands is superb. I'll be upgrading the whole thing with the RS-5 in the near future.
Greetings Klaus

Hello,
I bought the 481 from you in Schwäbisch Gmünd yesterday,
actually only wanted the 381, but one size bigger gives even more
more. I'm glad I took the trouble to visit your hearing studio.
to visit your hearing studio.
The advice was great, thanks again, the speakers play great with my new AX 497 from Yamaha, they are even better than my old pilot speakers.
Now listening to CDs is really fun again.
So 1 a speakers at a super price. I am completely thrilled.
Greetings

The expectations of my home theater and stereo system were not so easy to meet in terms of speakers. First of all, the sound should sound neutral and not be colored by the transducers in any way. In home cinema mode (5.1), the subwoofer had to have the right punch; here I attached great importance to deep bass combined with speed ? the SW should not sound buzzy or soft under any circumstances. In stereo mode, neutrality, dynamics and level stability were important to me.
When the not exactly light 125 kg ?package? arrived 23 !!! hours after I ordered it by phone, I was amazed (sensationally fast).
The individual speakers and the accessories I had ordered were all very well packed. When I had connected everything to my Onkyo TX 875 receiver and everything was calibrated, I was very excited about the first listening tests.
In stereo mode: whether classical music or rock/pop ? the Nubert set can reproduce everything in such a way that you sit on the sofa with a broad grin and soon wonder how you used to listen to music and what you've missed out on audiophile-wise. The set has a higher level than I do myself ? with Queen's 'I want to break free', for example, when the bass drops dramatically, you get the impression that the floor is being pulled out from under your feet without the sound suffering ? I've never heard or experienced anything like it in 23 years of hi-fi.
In home theater mode, the set is terrific ? you're always right in the middle of the action and you always have the reassuring feeling that nothing can shock these speakers. The speech intelligibility of the center speaker is excellent, the floorstanding speakers are great anyway (see above), the dipoles are awesome and the subwoofer is beyond reproach ? it doesn't get any better than this, and certainly not in this price range!
Dear Nubert team: for service, advice, shipping, quality and value for money, I give you a jagged 1+ ... Many thanks for everything.
Unfortunately I don't have time to write any more ? I'm off to enjoy some music ...
😂
PS: I have sent my old speakers "to the devil" 😉

The great test reports are all true! Until now I thought I could manage without a subwoofer, as my speakers provide enough bass anyway (see below) and I was actually planning to use my new AW-550 only in 5.1 mode as an LFE speaker. But today came the revelation: by chance, the thing also played music and really blew me away. In movie theater mode, the thing is already great, but with music it brings the real basement ....... I listen to pretty mixed music. From classical to rock to funk & soul.
My configuration:
Denon AVR 2802, all speakers set to "Large", crossover frequency 80 Hz, LFE mode)
Speakers
Front L/R: ELAC 208.2 (they already go down to a measured 38 Hz!)
Center: ELAC 201 Center
rear L/R: ELAC 201
(Sorry Mr. Nubert for the ELAC's, I already had them before but I will think about it)
The setting on the sub:
Volume 11:00, frequency 09:00, phase 120 degrees, soft clipping on, limit frequency 30 Hz.
I can't imagine what the AW-1000 would achieve .....

There is a great danger that I will repeat myself for the hundredth time on the website with praise and enthusiasm about your products, as there are so many satisfied customers who have been enlightened by your support.
Nevertheless, I would like to share my experiences with anyone who is interested. I started a few years ago with a small surround system (well, a slightly larger Harman AVR 8500 with CD recorder, DVD player and a mediocre speaker set). Since then, I've not only started to get more involved with music and movies, I've also learned to love it.
However, it took many steps to achieve the desired effect, as you're not just dealing with experts in the industry. In the meantime - after more than 10 speaker tests and a few electronics upgrades later - I have reached a level, at least for a few years, that really makes me very happy and allows me to enjoy music every free minute or - if I have more time - to "experience" a movie.
Despite all this, or perhaps because of it, I had to realize that very different business practices are common at the various companies. Some of them, for example, announce that "in the event of a service case, new customers are looked after first and only then owners of "older" devices...".
This is how they explained my long wait of over 2 months for a Panasonic HDD recorder, which was 6 months old just after it was handed in to the service center. The fact that I was one of the first customers to order such a device was not rewarded by the higher price at the time, nor by expert service (we had to have it repaired again). Others are unable to send documents that have been requested several times. Others are not able to answer simple questions about the setup or simply don't want to.
Certain specialist dealers still stand out pleasantly from the crowd, of course, but we'd rather not talk about the experiences in the large retail outlets in Austria (Co***, Sa***, Me***-Ma***) in terms of expertise and service friendliness.
At that time I got to know Nubert's service department, and Mr. Bühler in particular, over the phone because I was interested in the AW-1000 and AW-7. Criticism in professional circles was simply impossible to ignore. After half an hour with Mr. Bühler, I felt qualified enough to start a new career as a specialist in the hi-fi sector the next day... Never before have specific questions and concerns been answered and dispelled in such a well-founded and competent manner.
My summary at the time: AW-7 > music heaven,
AW-1000 > movie hell on earth.
I was somewhat astonished that I was able to buy a proud sum of money from the nice people from Germany without having to think about it or listen to it ;-)). But I don't regret my trust in your team to this day, it was and is simply great!
Unfortunately it happened last year that the remote control on the front of my "wonderwoofi" AW-7 simply stopped working. No great drama, as everything was fine in terms of sound, since manual control was still possible.
Nevertheless, it was annoying to constantly fiddle around at the front and due to the age of about 3 years, I feared for the warranty claim and any costly repairs. You never know what you're going to get back with such repairs, further damage or scratches can occur...
Again, my request came to Mr. Bühler, who explained to me competently and as a true connoisseur that I should simply replace the part myself and that he would handle everything as a gesture of goodwill, as apparently a few series were defective. I was delighted with the insane speed at which the mails were processed and the part arrived at my home after just 2 or 3 days. The conversion went very quickly, even though the regulator part was finally demolished. The return delivery was also no problem.
But now, after about 3 months, one of the regulators no longer wanted to work and I was originally a little disappointed. I contacted Mr. Bühler again, who even contacted me on his day off and gave me tips on how to fix it. Unfortunately without success and therefore another replacement as a gesture of goodwill! On 24.1. in the afternoon we emailed, today in the morning on 28.1. the part was there (and there is a weekend in between!!!)
I had to call Mr. Bühler and simply say thank you. By the way, he gave me a few tips on how I can upgrade my system by a few more points. This is no longer normal, this is exactly what is missing today: reliability and competence and if something really breaks, then first-class service and customer proximity!!!
I would be very much in favor of Mr. Bühler's salary being closely examined, I think it deserves a raise! Please pass this on to the management!
All the best and keep up the good work! H.K.
