Hello everyone, everything has already been said here, but I would still like to take the opportunity to express my opinion.
I drove to Schw'Gmünd on August 4th to listen to a few floorstanding speakers. I had already read a lot about Nubert and the NuWave series beforehand, but as I am rather skeptical when it comes to test reports, I decided to form my own opinion.

I've been thinking about buying new speakers for about a year now (when I bought a Yamaha RX-V 2500), but I didn't have the heart to spend my (hard-earned) money in one of the world's large stores... I'm not stupid 😬 ... so in short, I felt like I was on the right track to make a decision here and now.

Once there, I had the opportunity to test the Nu-Wave 85 and the 105 extensively in two of the four listening studios. A few of my own CDs to listen to and a cup of coffee during the listening test were a matter of course.

Admittedly, I was initially somewhat surprised by the sound of the 105 in contrast to the 85... The 105 was slender, almost reserved, but on closer listening I noticed this incredible attention to detail and the almost daring spatiality. Not that the Nu Wave 85 sounded bad, it was warmer and fuller in the bass range than the 105, but somewhat more restrained in the reproduction of the upper mids, almost a little nasal. On the advice of the consultant and self-confessed musician Mr. Reichelt, I interrupted the listening test to change studios and listen to the same speakers in a room under better listening conditions.

There it quickly became clear to me that the NuWave 105 was the one for me. Rarely before had I heard a loudspeaker that gets down to business so uncompromisingly, regardless of the volume or type of music, it reproduced everything I expected, plus probably the most detailed sound reproduction I have ever heard in this price range.
Nothing was added, but nothing was left out either - simply amazing.
I found myself shaking my head in amazement several times during the listening test, were these CDs really mine?

There I sat, infected by the much-cited Nubert audio fever and the question arose: What to do with the rest of the system? After all, a Yamaha 2500 also needs a center and a pair of rears and possibly even a subwoofer. I was able to clarify the answer to this question together with Mr. Reichelt, whose enthusiasm for music was literally palpable. Thanks to Peter Gabriel's Mercy Street (Growing Up Live DVD)
I then made the decision. I was able to experience this concert live at the time and the DVD reproduction was incredibly close to the live experience!
Definitely goosebumps Mr. Reichelt ... 😉

A CS-45 center and a pair of RS-5 dipoles for the widest possible effect backdrop when hung on the wall in the immediate vicinity of the listening position are an ideal team for the NuWave 105, as I can now confirm. The overall package is completed by a sub from the NuBox series, the AW-440, which I haven't listened to in the studio, but didn't want to, as I think it's more important to listen to a sub in my own home... and to involve the neighbor in the purchase decision if necessary 😬 .

Now, after a week of extensive test listening in my own four walls, I can report that the overall picture provided by the complete package clearly meets all my expectations and even exceeds them. I am now once again able to enjoy music without compromise, as a music lover should. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Günther Nubert team.

I myself worked in the hi-fi and consumer electronics industry for 7 years and I think I can judge what characterizes a pleasant sales conversation. In my opinion, Mr. Reichelt fulfilled all the points and the product... well, I've already described that in detail.

In the end, I can only recommend to anyone who is undecided, take the trip to Gmünd, you won't regret it!

Greetings
Holger Dürr

Hello sound makers,
I ordered two nubox 310 on 08.08.06 which arrived on 09.08.06
(super fast delivery).
Since then I can hear sounds from my CDs again that somehow weren't there before.
Everything is clearer and the individual instruments can be heard wonderfully (Quincy Jones \"Back on the Block\").
Another sound experience - Flint & the BB's \"Tricycle\".
I have to say that I have been a Nubi fan since 2003 (had
Nubox 380 and Nuwave 125) but had to leave them for personal reasons.
Without Nubi, it's not possible!!! 😂

Keep up the good work!!! :p

Best regards
Petra 😂 😂 😂

Hello,

I have been running two Nubox 400s with the AW440 in the living room and two Nubox 310s in the study for some time now.

Consequently, there is (unfortunately) no need to upgrade in the foreseeable future.
(I'm a stereo purist, surround is out of the question. Design: the simpler, the better)

Nevertheless, I always enjoy looking at the Nubert website.
It's just fun to read that the products are a pleasure (for others too).

I ordered 2 NuLine DS50s and speaker stands on August 7, and the goods arrived on August 8. The 1st plus point was thus awarded. When we unpacked and set them out, we were again impressed, this time by the excellent workmanship and the perfect veneer (cherry). This earns the 2nd plus point. The Sapnnun is rising, how will they sound? After 2 DVDs this question is also answered, simply fantastic. There is also a \"thick\" 3rd plus point for the sound.

To Mr. Nubert himself,

It is immediately and undoubtedly apparent that your loudspeakers are uncompromisingly designed to meet the highest demands, both technically and visually. My personal thanks for this, you definitely have a new regular customer.

Yours sincerely

It's actually relatively difficult to get everything under one roof in retail, but Nubert manages it. In addition to top workmanship (I can speak for the Nuline here), the perfect shipping stands out. It's simply a great feeling to receive the goods safely packaged and undamaged 21 hours after placing your order by phone.

However, the service is in a class of its own and therefore worthy of a more detailed comment. I spoke to a total of four Nubert employees on the phone. All of them were consistently friendly, helpful and competent. Twice I was called back within 30 minutes of leaving my number. In a long conversation (sorry for everyone who had to wait), I was shown all the options for integrating the new subwoofer into my HK and music system at the same time. While I needed three instruction manuals and two pieces of paper, the nice gentleman on the other end of the line knew the connection options for my three components off the top of his head. That was really shocking for me. Finally, Nubert got me a special switch to solve my particular problem.

In short, the service is beyond reproach and should put the entire retail trade to shame. As a consumer, I haven't experienced anything like this for over 10 years. I don't even want to talk about the interchangeable salespeople in electronics stores who sell clothes yesterday, plasma TVs today and fast food tomorrow. That would be like comparing? you simply can't compare!

Even if it were worth looking at the price (but with the price/performance ratio of Nubert products it isn't anyway), this OUTSTANDING service would be THE argument for buying from Nubert.

And if you recommend a smaller product that is better suited to the needs of the potential buyer, you create a relationship of trust that will lead the customer back to Nubert for their next purchase. And then I really do drive by in person. It's worth it to me.

I can only advise all doubters not to waste any more time, as I did, and to go for it after a consultation. It's as simple and risk-free as it sounds and the result will inspire you.

I don't even know what to say. On Wednesday 2.8. I ordered a pair of nuLine 30 (in the afternoon!!). The speakers were delivered on Thursday morning, August 3rd! What a great service! Less than 2 hours after I had placed my order, the shipping confirmation was already in my e-mail inbox, fantastic. About the packaging of the speakers: I have rarely seen such a professional way of packaging speakers. Not only is the padding not simple crumbly Styrofoam, but very firm damping material that should absorb shocks perfectly, the speakers are also each individually packed in a plastic bag, great! And about the nuLine 30: A really excellent compact speaker. For its size, it's really very level-resistant and absolutely sufficient for rooms up to 30 square meters, as long as you don't want to have an orgy of volume. I was also very impressed by the level of detail; the way this loudspeaker manages to keep even wild orchestral noise from drowning out the sound is truly amazing. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with Nubert. Great service, very good speakers.

Hello dear Nubert team,

I should be ashamed of my long period of speechlessness, because my family and I have been the happy owners of two nuLine 100s, a CS 150 and two DS 50s since the fall of 2004, followed by an ATM100/105 in the spring of 2005. The great satisfaction my wife and I had with your products also rubbed off on my daughter, who asked me to order her two nuBox 380s a short time later. Since then we have been enjoying our musical treasures separated by a few walls.
Our surround equipment in the living room was initially not good enough for my wife and I because of an inferior AV receiver with little power, poor sound and no separate pre and power amplifiers. In the meantime, we have upgraded considerably.
The Nuberts now show what they are capable of without any compromises. They deliver a terrific performance with a wide, spatial sound image both in stereo and surround and thanks to the ATM, the two nuLine 100s produce such a powerful and dry low bass that I haven't yet felt the need for a subwoofer.
In case you're interested: With the treble switches and the bass switches of the two nuLine 100 I have found the right position for me with \"linear\" (likewise the treble switch of my CS 150 is set to \"linear\"). Both controls of the ATM are also set to "linear" (12:00 o'clock position). The tone control of the AVR (NAD T773) is switched off with the dedicated "Tone Defeat" button. It doesn't matter which program is to be played back by the speakers - it always sounds the way it should. Whether it's early music, classical music from solo to large ensembles, jazz from various formations, pop or well-fed movie sound - it always sounds right, just as you have experienced the sounds yourself as original sound events (with the exception of the movie sound). I think you can't get any more neutral than that!

Many thanks for everything

I have now bought the Nuline DS50 to go with my Nuline 80 with ABL.
As always, the workmanship is very good.

Only when setting up the two rears as dipoles do you have to test a little to find a good height/position, but after a few hours they were optimally positioned (also with the advice of the hotline).

As for the sound: it is now a wonderful spatial sound, also very nice with music. It's simply even more fun to watch DVDs now, you're simply part of the action.

The small DS50s are powerhouses that aren't extremely large and don't look out of place in the living room. A very balanced, dynamic sound.

Next up is the center. :-)

Hello Nubert team, customers and everyone else.

Yesterday I went to Gmünd with a colleague to have a look at the premises and of course to listen to the Nuboxes. I have to say that my expectations were exceeded to the highest degree! I have never heard such a clear sound in my life. I have also never heard the potential in bass reproduction that even a small Nubox310 has.

I can only recommend everyone to make their way to the Nubert listening studios to experience this sound. 😱

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Nubert for the great insights into speaker development that he gave us. Even though as a layman I unfortunately only understood half of it, it was still very interesting! 😂

Last but not least, of course, I also went shopping. 2 Nubox310 + RS300 each. The AW440 has been ordered and will complete my home theater system. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test and listen to too much yet, but my first impression at home was excellent.

Finally, thanks again to the whole Nubert team for the great speakers! Keep up the good work and see you again soon...

... bought a nice high-quality Yamaha receiver and then the matching floorstanding speakers 2 x nuBox 400 - a pleasure from day one. Then: if I'm going to do it, I should add a nuBox AW 440 active subwoofer for the low bass. Unfortunately, I can't position the speakers the way I want, so the subwoofer should compensate for that. The woofer will arrive shortly before a business trip. A test connection - without the floorstanding speakers - and then: sudden horror! Scorn on the faces of the family. This thing, which only occasionally emits low, rumbling tones and noises, and so much money for it? Definitely send it back. After the business trip: a quiet evening, the family out of the house, a glass of red wine, a few well-hung favorite CDs and the detailed set-up and connection instructions, plenty of time and peace and quiet to try everything out in turn. And then comes the experience: a good position is found in the room, the frequency, volume and phase settings are iteratively optimized and then: a sound experience at its best. The Srand speakers, which are not bad on their own, have moved up two categories. Precise, clear highs and mids, plus that rich, but not intrusive and not distorted bass!

Overall verdict: A very good decision! A first-class speaker combination, even for non-surround fans.
