AW-1000 - Field report (2) After 2 weeks of fine-tuning, I am now very satisfied with the tuning of the bass to the main speakers (full-range LS with 97 db efficiency). Apparently the surround needs a certain break-in period until the optimum flexibility is achieved. However, I was unable to achieve the desired speed/contour with the additional rubber dampers I had ordered. Only a change to aluminum cones brought a significant improvement in timing. My suggestion for improvement to Nubert is therefore to provide threads for spikes in the future. The control for the crossover frequency is now at 7 o'clock, the volume control at 8 o'clock. The bass is positioned somewhat asymmetrically between the main LS and offset backwards by 20 cm. The bass is positioned approx. 25 cm from the wall. The phase control is set to 45 degrees. The bass cannot be localized in this position and blends seamlessly into the sound image. Despite the very reduced control settings, the bass complements the main LS down to the lowest registers. A big band or an orchestra sound much more stable without losing anything in the upper frequency spectrum. On the contrary - the room in which the recording was made is suddenly transported into the listening room - the positioning of the instruments in relation to each other is much clearer. I would of course be grateful for any further tips. Conclusion: An excellent product at an exceptionally reasonable price! My compliments to the Nubert company.

I ordered the 880 Sub on 17.12 2001 and I am still waiting for my delivery. If I had known how long it would take I would have bought another one. Hopefully the products will at least keep their promises :redface:

Hello Nubert team, I recently ordered and installed the ABL-Mobil to match my NuWave10 speakers. Conclusion: Simply GREAT! The module is certainly not cheap at first glance, but it's worth the price in every respect. I connected the module between the CD player and the amplifier. The additional bass volume generated by this module is indeed fantastically audible. Nubert is therefore still My Favorite Partner. Griasle HW 🙂

Since many customers (current and future) are certainly interested in this, I'll just post the question here and hope for a 'public' answer: With which loudspeakers (model name!) does Mr. Nubert actually listen to music at home?

Unbelievable, sensational! I ordered the AW-900 on Boxing Day and it's here today! 🙂 I almost knocked my socks off with the Matrix!!! 😬 😬 But in my opinion it's a loser when it comes to music, but all the better for home theater. There's definitely nothing better in this price range. And another delicacy: When the UPS boat sends the money, I realize that the thing costs 100 DM less than expected, great!!! Keep it up!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Hello Nubert Team !!! My friend and I were one of the first to buy the new nu Box 400 together with the AW 880 and the brilliant CS-330. Since then I've been constantly arguing with my neighbors because your speakers are just hellishly good!!! They are not only inexpensive but also so well made that expensive Berlin speakers no longer seem diabolical 😬 Especially the subwoofer with its remote control is ingenious and can't be beaten in this price range!!! Plus the great service and the really good homepage! Who needs to speak High German? 😬 😬 😬 😬

I actually just wanted to buy shelf boxes for my study. And now? With the nuLine30, I have two excellent sound bodies in my four walls that reproduce music and speech so closely that I have far fewer withdrawal symptoms when I can't hear my Piega on an Accuphase. I don't want to say that my main system is now superfluous. But what the little nuLine30s deliver is more than astonishing: a well-defined, yet not sterile sound image, sound-filling, simply overwhelming. And they don't even sit perfectly on the shelf. I am particularly impressed by the colorfulness of the sound, even when listening quietly. That was particularly important to me. I was not disappointed. Before, I had to switch the system off after a while. Now I can't get enough and still work effectively. For information: I have been an active hi-fi enthusiast since 1975 and have listened to many, many speakers and still do. The delivery was prompt and professionally uncomplicated. In future, I will always go to Nubert first.
