The quality of the power supply plays a decisive role in the sound performance of a hi-fi chain. Hum loops, interference from inferior socket strips or unstable contact resistances can measurably and audibly impair the signal - especially with sensitive components such as tube amplifiers, DACs or high-quality CD players.
The very compact Deluxe 8-way Alu-8 power strip offers a robust, low-loss solution for stable power distribution in audiophile setups. Its aluminum housing not only ensures mechanical stability and durability, but also acts as effective protection against electromagnetic interference. The eight black Schuko sockets rotated by 45° enable clean and accessible connection routing - even large power supply units or angled plugs can be accommodated without blocking each other thanks to the generous spacing of 44.45 mm.
The 2 meter long supply cable (H07RN-F3Gx1.5 mm²) ensures a reliable power supply even under continuous load. The VDE-certified Schuko plug (CEE7/III) ensures a standard-compliant and safe connection to the mains supply. With a rated current of 16 A at 250 V AC, the socket strip achieves a maximum connected load of 3680 W - also suitable for multi-component systems with high power requirements.
Thanks to the universal mounting options and the brackets supplied, the Alu-8 power strip can be mounted flexibly and permanently - in the rack, under the table or on the wall. The IP20 protection rating allows it to be used indoors, while the IK00 impact resistance offers basic mechanical protection.
