Sound optimised down to the last detail
Many modern integrated amplifiers have a poor or no phono input and a separate phono preamplifier is necessary. The NAD PP2e and PP4 models offer first-class sound and outstanding value for money. A new, environmentally friendly automatic switch-off feature ensures that both units switch off when there is no music signal for a certain period of time.
The PP2e phono preamplifier offers excellent sound, easy set-up and a very good price/performance ratio. It can be used with MM or MC pick-up systems, the setting is made via a switch on the back. Inside the PP2e, the NAD developers have put the same effort as in the legendary NAD amplifiers: stable power supply via an external 24 V/100 mA power supply, high-quality sound-optimised components, a solid metal housing and sturdy, gold-plated connections. A ground connection on the housing allows direct connection to the turntable. The new automatic switch-off ensures that the PP2e switches to standby mode after a few minutes if there is no music signal for a few minutes.
