The Cable
Introducing the nuCable massimo pro, an exclusive high-end cable, available in three lengths and fitted with rhodium-plated banana plugs. It features ultra-fine silver-plated strands with a total cross-section of 6.0 mm². This combination delivers outstanding technical performance and an exceptional appearance. As a direct sales company, we traditionally maintain a very close relationship with our customers, and we repeatedly received requests for a cable positioned above the nuCable Exklusiv. This led us to identify areas where performance could be taken even further.
Cross-Section and Material
We have increased the cross-section from 4.0 mm² to 6.0 mm². The fine strands, each with a cross-section of 0.02 mm², are precisely twisted and securely connected to the connector. Every aspect is designed to minimise resistance. Oxygen-free copper is used and carefully silver-plated, combined with the larger 6.0 mm² cross-section to further reduce resistance. Naturally, the conductors are meticulously insulated from one another to eliminate any potential negative effects from the outset.
Banana Plugs
The nuCable massimo pro is available in lengths of 1.5 m, 2 m, 3 m, 5 m, and 7.5 m, and comes ready-assembled. As standard at Nubert, the cable ends are fitted with high-quality banana plugs. Rhodium is used as the contact material – an exceptionally hard and durable metal that offers significantly less wear than gold. The plugs are also angled at 45° to reduce strain behind the connector and minimise space requirements.
Sustainability
The banana plugs are extremely robust; however, should one ever break, the screw connection allows for easy replacement. To reduce plastic use, the nuCable massimo pro is supplied in high-quality cardboard packaging and shipped carbon-neutral. Combined with a 5-year warranty, this cable is designed as a lifetime investment. It is also made in Germany, ensuring short transport routes.
