Before connecting and operating the device, it is essential to read the user manual and especially the safety instructions in full. For your own safety, make sure to follow all warnings and safety notes in this manual and on the speaker. No operations other than those described in this manual should be performed by the user. Keep this document in a place where it is easily accessible at all times. Furthermore, it must also be passed on to any future owners.

Intended Use

This speaker is designed solely for audio playback in a private environment. The supplied power adapter may only be used in dry indoor areas. Use the speaker only as described in this manual. Any other use (especially for safety-critical or medical purposes, installation) outdoors, such as with specially IP-certified products, is considered improper and may result in material or personal injury. Nubert electronic GmbH accepts no liability for damages resulting from improper use.

General Information

Never operate the device or power supply unattended!

Risk of Electric Shock!

To avoid the risk of electric shock, neither the device nor the power supply should be opened by the user. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the speaker. Service and repairs should only be carried out by authorised and qualified professionals approved by Nubert. If service is required, contact Nubert electronic GmbH directly (info@nubert.de)!

Risk of Suffocation

Never allow children to use the device or power supply unattended, or to play with the packaging materials! Children may get caught in the packaging film and suffocate. Ensure that children cannot detach small parts from the devices! These parts could be swallowed, leading to choking. If a part is swallowed, consult a doctor immediately!

Risk of Injury or Damage!

When moving the device or power supply, exercise caution to avoid injuries or damage!

Attention!

Since this device can only be completely disconnected from the mains by unplugging the power supply, ensure that the power supply is always easily accessible. If any of the following conditions occur, turn off the speaker immediately and unplug the power supply from the mains. Contact Nubert electronic GmbH promptly (info@nubert.de):

• The speaker has been damaged or has fallen.
• The power cable or power supply is damaged.
• Foreign objects or liquids have entered the device or power supply.
• The device or power supply has been exposed to excessive moisture or rain.
• The device or power supply is not functioning correctly or shows a significant performance decline.
• The device or power supply emits a burning smell, develops smoke, or produces unusual noises.

Use only accessories, power supplies, and charging cables recommended by Nubert!

Placement Instructions

Attention!

An unstable placement can result in damage to the speaker.

• Place the speaker only on a flat, stable surface and ensure it cannot be tipped over!
• Ensure that no unintended tension is applied to the cables to avoid toppling the speaker or damaging the connector ports!
• Keep strong mechanical shocks away from the speaker!

Attention!

Excessive heat buildup inside the device can shorten its lifespan or cause a fire.

• Do not operate the device or power supply near heat sources such as radiators, ovens, or other appliances!
• Do not expose the device or power supply to direct sunlight!
• Never place burning candles or similar open flames on or near the device or power supply!

Risk of Explosion!

Placement in unsuitable locations can cause explosions. Do not use the device or power supply:

• In fire or explosion-prone environments.
• At extremely low or high temperatures.
• Near flammable gases or vapours.
• In dusty environments.
• Near easily combustible materials.

Attention!

Moisture or foreign objects inside the device can cause damage.

• If a device is brought from a cold environment into a warm room, condensation may form inside the device. Wait at least 4 hours before plugging it in or turning it on, until it has reached room temperature and is dry.
• If liquids or objects have entered the device, immediately unplug the power supply, turn off the speaker, and contact Nubert electronic GmbH (info@nubert.de)!

Connection Instructions

Risk of Electric Shock!

The power supply contains mains voltage and areas with voltages exceeding 35 V AC or DC. Under certain conditions, liquids and objects may enter the system, posing a risk of fatal electric shock or permanent damage to the speaker or power supply.

• Do not allow foreign objects or substances to enter the power supply or speaker.
• Only connect the speaker to the power supply if it is completely clean and dry.
