Uncompromising bass – precise for music and effects
With its elegant body and 15-inch (381 mm) low-frequency driver, the nuVero nova 1w is a bass masterpiece in a class of its own. On the one hand, it impresses with the ease with which it delivers even the most powerful bass attacks crisply into the room. With breathtaking level stability and dry precision. At the same time, it impresses with its musicality, reproducing rousing grooves and thrilling rhythms with precision and sensitivity, allowing you to experience your favourite music in a whole new way.
The solid support for the low-frequency fireworks is provided by the particularly stable cabinet and the total weight of around 70 kg. Secure installation is guaranteed on any surface thanks to the simple fine adjustment of the solid base.
WideStage – musicality in unprecedented development
Experience a completely new type of omnidirectional sound dispersion – with a full sound spectrum even when listening from a significantly off-centre position: outstanding sound all around, even when you have guests or are moving freely around the room. Our nuVero nova delivers full listening pleasure without a narrow sweet spot, even at extreme angles of up to approx. 45° to the side of the loudspeaker.
Diffuse field equalisation for the finest high-frequency resolution
In an average living room, you are already in the so-called diffuse field at a listening distance of 60-80 cm. This is the area where the reflected sound is stronger than the sound coming directly from the loudspeaker. Our diffuse field equalisation specifically compensates for the difference between direct and reflected sound. The result is a particularly stress-free listening experience with a simultaneous gain in fine detail in the high frequencies.
UltraDirectivity for maximum balance
Consistently natural listening throughout the room – UltraDirectivity, which we have achieved through numerous development efforts, combines with our diffuse field equalisation to create an ideally homogeneous, cleanly defined sound field, the BalancedField. Even in rooms with less than perfect acoustics, authentic and brilliant music reproduction is possible throughout the entire space.
Sound and space – perfectly matched
The best all-round sound also depends on where the speakers are positioned. For speaker positions close to walls, we have therefore equipped the rear of the nuVero nova with two high-quality plug-in bridges. These enable location equalisation if necessary. In addition, the spatial and spectral balance of the sound image can be optimised by means of switchable diffuse field equalisation – for the best sound even in acoustically difficult environments.
High-tech for bone-dry bass
The cone of the powerful 15" bass driver in the nuVero nova 1w is made from carbon, an ultra-rigid and particularly lightweight high-tech material derived from Formula 1. Its four layers with a special polymer coating enable maximum impulse fidelity and direct conversion of incoming signals into thrilling bass sound that will sweep everyone away. Sound purity is also ensured by the flow-optimised basket.
Deep breath for real punch
The generously dimensioned magnet system with Balanced Force Management ensures thrilling dynamics. Its impressive efficiency, coupled with a high maximum excursion and very low resonance frequency, creates the ideal conditions for first-class bass performance. Of course, all parameters of the bass reflex enclosure have been optimally tuned to the power package of this powerhouse, so that it can deliver its available amplifier power to the room in an unadulterated and crisp manner.
Classic via cable or smart via radio
Of course, with its extensive range of connections, the nuVero nova 1w offers hi-fi enthusiasts a wide variety of connection options: wired via the LINE connection or via the XLR connection, which also allows further subwoofers or speakers to be looped through using the XLR output, thus creating a high degree of flexibility for individual setups. But it can also be used wirelessly.
Free placement and top sound thanks to X-Connect Surround
On the other hand, the nuVero nova 1w receives X-Connect Surround and can therefore connect wirelessly to many Nubert devices. Optionally, this HiRes wireless technology can also be easily extended to all classic systems and retrofitted there using nuConnect trxS – for a stable, wireless connection and free placement of the system components.
X-Remote
Our subwoofers do not come with a remote control because any smartphone can take over this function. Our Nubert X-Remote app works with the energy-saving Bluetooth LE standard and provides access to all subwoofer functions, including calibration (see below). The advantage for you: full control at all times and no more aiming. The active nuVero nova 1w can be conveniently and easily configured and controlled using our Nubert X-Remote app. The app also offers a calibration function. The Nubert X-Remote app is available for free download for both iOS and Android devices in the respective app stores.
X-Room Calibration
The smartphone is also the heart of our X-Room Calibration function, which automatically corrects the bass by ± 6dB in the range from 20 to 160 Hz using fully parametric equalizers. iOS devices serve directly as microphones for the algorithm, while Android devices require an additional microphone due to differences in hardware configuration, which can be ordered from our shop. The advantage for you: better bass reproduction for your listening position.
Colour
nuVero nova models are carefully lacquered with multi-layer piano lacquer. The white models create a special design accent with the profiled pattern of the matt chassis in the gloss lacquer body. In the black models, the discreet matt lacquer contrast creates an attractive surface effect in the classic, elegant overall appearance.
Design
The 1w fits perfectly into the nuVero nova series, not only in terms of sound but also aesthetics – with its gently curved front that seamlessly connects to the slimmer body, giving the giant a very elegant appearance despite its size. As an ensemble in the setup, the speakers of the nuVero nova series, with their softly curved fronts and uniformly designed, stable bases, are a fascinating eye-catcher in any living environment.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before connecting and operating the device, the user manual and especially the safety instructions must be read completely. For your own safety, observe all warnings and safety instructions in this manual and on the loudspeaker.
Apart from the actions described, the user must not carry out any work on the loudspeaker. Keep this document in a place where it is accessible at any time. It must also be passed on to any subsequent owner.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Never operate the loudspeaker unattended!
Risk of electric shock!
To avoid the risk of electric shock, the loudspeaker must not be opened by the user. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the loudspeaker. Service and repair work must only be carried out by qualified specialists authorized by Nubert. In case of service, please contact Nubert electronic GmbH (info@nubert.de).
Risk of suffocation!
Never allow children to use the loudspeaker or the remote control unsupervised or to play with the packaging. There is a risk that children may become entangled in the packaging film and suffocate.
Ensure that children cannot remove small parts from the devices. These parts, as well as the battery of the remote control, may be swallowed and cause suffocation. If any parts are swallowed, contact a doctor immediately.
CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS
General connection instructions
Disconnect the mains plug before changing any wiring on the system!
- Ensure that all connections have been made correctly and that all plugs are firmly seated in the sockets before connecting the loudspeaker to the power supply!
- Only use the specified cables or connectors for the connections! Otherwise, damage or malfunctions may occur.
- If you want to disconnect connections from the loudspeaker, always pull on the plug, never on the cable!
- Ensure that all plugs are firmly seated in the sockets!
Only use cables and accessories recommended by Nubert!
Risk of electric shock!
Faulty power supply systems or excessive mains voltage can result in electric shocks.
- All power supply or antenna systems connected to the loudspeaker must comply with the applicable legal regulations and provisions and must be installed professionally by a licensed installation company.
- Only use the supplied power cable to connect the loudspeaker. The power cable and its plug must not be modified under any circumstances.
- Ensure that the mains voltage at your location matches the requirements of the loudspeaker! The correct power supply can be found on the label on the rear of the loudspeaker. It must not be connected to other power supplies.
- Devices of protection class 1 must be connected to the protective earth conductor of the electrical installation, which is at earth potential. Ensure that the protective earth installation at the connection point has been carried out correctly.
- When routing the power cables, ensure that they cannot be damaged (for example by heat or mechanical stress)! Pay particular attention to the areas around plugs and distributors!
Attention!
Overvoltages in the power grid (for example caused by lightning strikes) can damage or destroy the device and the power supply.
- A certain level of protection against excessive voltages in the power grid can be provided by a surge protection device.
- However, maximum protection against damage can only be achieved by completely disconnecting your devices from the power grid and the antenna systems. Therefore, in the event of thunderstorms or risk of lightning strikes, unplug the power cable from the socket and disconnect any antenna plugs from your HiFi system.
- If the loudspeaker will not be used for a longer period of time or is left unattended, the power supply should be interrupted. Unplug the power plug from the socket.
REMOTE CONTROL AND BATTERY
This product is supplied with a remote control and a battery. When handling remote controls and batteries, the following must be observed:
If the batteries become discharged, the range of the remote control will decrease significantly. In such cases, replace the batteries immediately. Always use high-quality lithium button cells as replacement batteries. When inserting the battery into the battery compartment, ensure the correct polarity by observing the + and – symbols in the battery compartment.
Attention!
Improper handling may result in property damage.
- Do not drop the remote control.
- Do not allow the remote control or the battery to come into contact with water or other liquids.
- Do not operate or store the remote control and battery in locations with high humidity or extremely high or low temperatures.
Danger!
Leaking or exploding batteries may pose a danger to your health and may cause property damage.
- If the device will not be used for a longer period of time or if the batteries are exhausted, remove the batteries from the remote control to prevent discharge, leakage of acid, or explosions.
- Leaking batteries must be replaced immediately.
- If you find a leaking battery, do not touch the leaked material and dispose of the batteries immediately.
- Do not touch leaking batteries.
- If your skin, eyes, or mouth come into contact with the leaked material, rinse the affected area immediately with water and contact a doctor immediately.

Swallowing batteries may cause severe internal burns within a short time and may result in death.
