Conditions of participation nuVero competition

1. Organiser

The organiser of this competition is Nubert electronic GmbH, Nubertstraße 1, 73529 Schwäbisch Gmünd, info@nubert.de ("Nubert").

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Nubert electronic GmbH, their relatives, and anyone involved in the conception or execution of this promotion are excluded from participation.

Each participant may only enter the competition once. Any irregular or repeated participation will lead to disqualification.
By entering this competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions.

3. Entry, Deadline and Process

To enter the competition, participants must submit a name suggestion for the new nuVero series via the designated form on the competition page.
Participation also requires subscribing to the Nubert newsletter. This subscription may be revoked at any time with future effect without affecting the chances of winning.

The deadline for entries is 30 June 2025 (11:59 PM). Entries submitted after this deadline will not be considered.

The main winner will be selected by an internal jury at Nubert electronic GmbH on 04.07.2025. In the case of identical entries, the winner will be chosen at random.

If none of the submissions meet the jury's criteria for a suitable name, Nubert reserves the right to draw the main and other prizes at random from all entries.

Winners will be notified via the email address provided no later than 07.07.2025.

Upon acceptance of the prize and provision of a delivery address, the prize will be sent. The address will only be used for the purpose of sending the prize. Shipping costs within Germany or Austria will be covered by Nubert. Shipping to other countries may incur additional charges.

If a winner does not claim the prize and provide a delivery address within two weeks of notification, the prize entitlement will be forfeited. The prize will also be forfeited if, for reasons attributable to the participant, delivery cannot be made within six months of the initial notification.

Once the prize has been handed over to the postal service, the risk passes to the winner. Nubert is not responsible for delivery damages. The winner accepts necessary changes to the prize that may arise due to factors beyond the control of the companies involved in the competition.

4. Prizes

The prizes include a main prize and Nubert shopping vouchers. The exact details of the prizes can be found on the competition page. A cash payout or transfer of prizes to third parties is excluded.

By participating, the entrant explicitly agrees to this.

5. Rights Assignment

Participants acknowledge that the winning name suggestion may be used to designate the new nuVero series. Nubert will make the necessary arrangements with the winner to grant the required rights free of charge.

6. Early Termination and Exclusion

Nubert reserves the right to terminate or suspend the competition at any time should malfunctions, disruptions, tampering, manipulation, viruses or damage occur that affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or operation of the competition. This also applies if legal reasons prevent the proper conduct of the competition. No claims may be derived from early termination. In cases of suspected manipulation, Nubert reserves the right to exclude participants without providing reasons.

7. Data Protection

Nubert will store and use the data collected for the competition to carry out and manage the competition, particularly for identifying and notifying winners and delivering prizes. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

The email address will also be used for sending the email newsletter.

Personal data of participants will be deleted from our active systems after the competition has concluded. Data will only be archived for legal defence purposes, and for no longer than the limitation period (usually three years). The legal basis is Article 17(3)(e) GDPR. Winner data will be archived for the duration of statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law, and to protect winners from disadvantages (e.g. product recalls). The legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. No further use of personal data for our own or third-party advertising purposes will take place!

You may withdraw your entry at any time and object to the use of your data for the competition (see contact details below). A withdrawal of consent for the purposes of the competition will be treated as a withdrawal from the competition itself. Nubert will not charge any fees for this (especially not if you contact us by email – only transmission costs at your provider’s base rates may apply). For questions regarding the competition or the processing and use of your personal data, please contact us at the address below. Our complete privacy policy, including your rights to access, correction, deletion, and other objection and complaint rights regarding data processing, can be found here …

8. Final Provisions

Nubert reserves the right to amend or correct these terms and conditions at any time. If a participant does not accept such changes, they may revoke their consent by notifying info@nubert.de. In doing so, they forfeit their eligibility to participate.
Legal recourse is excluded. Any liability on the part of Nubert electronic GmbH and its representatives, employees, and agents for or in connection with the competition, regardless of the legal basis, is limited – to the extent legally permissible – to cases of intent or gross negligence. These terms and conditions and the participation itself are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is Cologne.
