Unstoppable!!!
I have been a very happy and enthusiastic owner of a NuLine set including the AW-1000 for almost a year now. I can only advise anyone looking for a very good affordable music and surround set to look for NuLine speakers in combination with the merciless AW-1000. I've poured out high praise here before, but now after watching the action movie "Unstoppable" I'm once again thrilled and stunned: the movie is very exciting from the first to the last minute and challenges the subwoofer in particular. The AW-1000 didn't have a second to catch its breath, but had to endure 90 minutes of thundering trains. Insane!!! Anyone who opts for the AW-1000 should definitely "listen" to the movie "Unstoppable" at high volume!!! Because the AW-1000 is also unstoppable, unstoppable, simply unrestrained, until the whole house roars and thunders. Thank God we live in a detached house, and when I was watching the movie, there was construction work going on in the neighbor's house, so I didn't disturb anyone. Dear Mr. Nubert, once again THANK YOU for these great speakers and THANK YOU to Mr. Bühler for the fascinating Marantz sr-5005 AV receiver, which makes this listening pleasure even more possible! Please keep up the good work!

After investing the last Christmas money in a Cambridge Azur 650BD & Azur 650R 7.1, I accidentally ended up on the Nubert homepage while looking for new floorstanding speakers and surround speakers.
Very good layout and a wealth of information...
Browsing through the products, the NuVero series immediately caught my eye. It looked great and the technical specifications were really quite impressive...

After reading detailed reports in the guestbook, forum and trade journals, it was clear that I had to go to Schwäbisch Gmünd.

At the end of February it was finally time. With a few CDs in our luggage, my girlfriend and I arrived at the listening studio at lunchtime.

We received a very friendly welcome and were allowed to make ourselves at home in the (thank goodness!!) free NuVero listening studio.

A brief explanation of the system and then we were able to listen to it undisturbed.

I only listened to death metal CDs, while my girlfriend contributed a few doom songs...

What can I say: ABSOLUTELY GREAT !!!

We had "felt our way" to the 14s via the NuVero 10 and 11. The little sisters of the NuVero 14 are really not bad either, but after we had heard a few songs on the 14, the decision was made.

Even my girlfriend, who had reservations about the size of the speakers, was convinced.

We then tested a few DVD sequences to get an impression of the NuVero 7 and NuVero 5 surround speakers.

Here, too, the decision was quickly clear: HER MIT DEM ZEUG'S !!!!

After the tiresome payment formalities were completed, we were told that the 5s and 14s were not yet in the house and that we would have to wait a little longer....
Puuuuuh, pretty tough !!!!

Anyway, 1 week later the good pieces arrived at our house. The TNT driver made quite big cheeks while carrying them. Thanks to my help and a good tip, the world was soon back to normal for him...

And there they stand, lie and hang: 2x NuVero14, 1x NuVero 7 and 2x NuVero5 !!!

Once again, MANY thanks to Holger Nubert for his competent but pleasantly reserved advice.

If there should ever be a NuVero subwoofer, we will definitely see each other again. NOT because we absolutely need it with the 14s, but because it will certainly look just as great as the rest and would complete our system.....

Greetings to the whole Nubert team. KEEP IT UP !!!!

I have owned a pair of NuVero 4 and ATM since fall 2010. The sound and appearance (mocha) are always convincing. I find the spatiality, bass foundation and fine detail very good in all styles.
However, I use the speakers with a Luxman L-410, and the CD (via Cambridge CD player) often can't hold a candle to the old LP (Project 1 with Ortofon Vinylmaster blue).

I've owned the nuVero4 speakers for about 15 months now. The speakers are connected to a Pioneer PDX Z9 using a Viablue SC4 bi-wiring cable. The above-average listening pleasure that is often mentioned here in the forum and in the customer reviews does not come to me! I came from a rather mediocre (also in terms of price) ALR Jordan floorstanding speaker and have now switched to the compact class with the Nubert, as I thought that the state of the art is/should be so mature that a speaker no longer (only) needs this resonance chamber to sound "good" (yes, that's in the eye/ear of the beholder). In the end I come to the conclusion that this is/seems not to be the case! It can't be the placement - the speakers are 85 cm high in the living room. Yes, they are even close to the wall/corner. Although even changing the position of the speakers doesn't make any significant difference to the sound. Nevertheless, in my opinion, the nuVero4s often sound really "flat". The spatial sound, the dry bass, where are they? Air's "Sexy Boy" therefore comes close, sorry, to oral rape... Undoubtedly, the Pioneer's excellent drive also contributes to this - it reveals every bad recording and only now do you realize what you're putting in the drawer! Of course, there are also pieces like Götz Alsmann's "Fräulein Mabel" that sound quite convincing. Unfortunately, they are just outnumbered...

What I want to say is that if you're coming from a halfway decent stereo hi-fi system and don't have completely earplug-damaged hearing, you should think about what you're putting in your room and, above all, what your expectations are! In particular, the step from a floorstanding speaker to a compact speaker can reveal some striking things.

We are of course sorry that we have not quite met your expectations of a compact speaker. But even we can't change the laws of physics. Perhaps an ATM module would be the solution for you. Give the nuVero 4 another chance and give it a try...

I too would have bought a nuvero14 long ago if the body of the speaker had been painted in the same color as the sound sail.

I continue to hope

Hello Mr. Reiter and "Thomsi"!
We have already discussed the topic of "nuVero in wood and other lacquer versions" at length in the nuForum and at nuDays 2009. Regardless of the price problem with a single pair or small series production: No matter which wood and which lacquer version we would offer, there would always be voices that would like to have a "different" version.
Doing justice to everyone is an art that nobody can do. We would like to close this topic here and ask that discussions be held in the nuForum intended for this purpose. Thank you.

Hi there, I'd like to add my voice to that of "Sanders". I have also owned NuLines for years. My next purchase was supposed to be the NL 102, but it's a difficult case in terms of height (I don't want to explain any further). Then came the NuVero 10, from the descriptions and the tests actually the "perfect" loudspeaker, actually. In the long term, of course, I would also switch to NuVero, but I have to agree with the previous speaker, "Sanders", on all points. You should have left the Nextel coating for shipbuilding. This is the only reason for me not to buy the NuVero 10. If you had chosen a deep black, i.e. inconspicuous, you might have been able to get away with it. Why on earth didn't you paint them completely? Please give me an honest answer. Too expensive? But it's a design that's hard to describe in words without wanting to step on anyone's toes. Then have fun deciding whether to keep the speakers "Sanders", unfortunately my decision has already been made. With somewhat disappointed greetings from Franconia. 😭

Hello Thomsi,

any carpenter or painter will tell you that Nextel is one of the most expensive paints.
A complete paint job in the front color would certainly be cheaper...

The vast majority of our customers like the contrast between the front and body color.

Huhu ;-)

I will make it short !

I've been a fan of Nubert products for many years and have owned quite a few of their products.
Back then I started with a Nubox set, then a Nuvave set and finally the Nuwave10 floorstanding speakers.

After a separation and the "turmoil" in the years that followed, I'm now enjoying my old hifi hobby again.
But since I sold everything "old" I had to get something new.......
What has proven itself is good and that's why I naturally ended up with Nubert again;-)

However, as I now have different requirements and priorities, I no longer wanted a Surrond and have now arrived at a small but more than fine stereo solution.

I chose the cute little 311 Nubox speakers, which arrived today.

In fact, I've heard a lot of hi-fi in my life, but what comes out of these little things is magical.
So lively, precise and crisp ......... a bass range that you simply wouldn't believe.

Hammer ;-))))))

These are real "foot bouncers" and to quote a common advertising slogan: "I won't give them away again".

Thank you and best regards to the Nubert team

Hello,

Nubert has ruined my weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered the nuVero 14 and Center nuVero 7, everything was again to my complete satisfaction. I also had a small request to swap the white grilles for black ones, no problem Nubert will do that, I think the only nice salespeople there are work at Nubert, they are always friendly and nice !!!!!!
Previously had the 122 in cherry a blink catch and great sound, until day X !!!
So, I unpacked a nuVero and ???????????
I had to sit down first.
Nubert sent me a half-painted speaker.
OK I thought, I unpacked the others, great perplexity !!!!!!!!
Did the paint run out of color ?????
My wife asked me if I had ordered a kit for the money !!!!!
Then I connected the speakers and wow, what a sound !!!
I've read a lot about comparisons between the 122 and the nuVero
but if you only hear small differences to the nuVero you don't need to listen to music at all.
It's a difference like night and day.
The nuVero are simply awesome when the light is off.
If you turn the light on, you lose the joy.
I don't know what I'm going to do yet, it's supposed to be a high-end speaker !!!!!!
In terms of sound it is one, but in terms of color it's a DIY store box that you can paint yourself !!!!!
I hope that the man or woman responsible for this no longer works at Nubert, maybe I missed something when I ordered it, is it also available in color? No there isn't. I won't be leaving them in my living room like this under any circumstances. there may be another option I'm considering, having them painted myself!!!
I still have one question, if you have such a talent to build such great sounding speakers, why do you ruin everything with such a design (I mean the color differences) !!!!

Hello Mr. Sanders!
As pleased as we are about your "sound praise" regarding the nuVero 14, we are equally shocked by your blatant judgment regarding the high-quality Nextel coating (originating from yacht building) plus high-gloss finish. You say: "DIY box" - AreaDVD describes the new nuVero 10 as a "design masterpiece".
After all, tastes differ...
PS: I still work for Nubert...

Hello dear Nubert team,

I would also like to speak briefly.

I ordered a complete 5.1 set at the beginning of February, consisting of 2 nuBox 511, 2 nuBox DS-301 (with stands), a CS-411 and an AW-991.

As the nuBox 511 was not yet available at the time, the rest was sent in advance.

The delivery was fast and I thought the packaging was very good. After unpacking everything was set up and connected (the receiver is an Onkyo TX-SR608).

The DS-301 dipole speakers were then connected to the front as a replacement while the 511s were not yet there.

Then I tested them directly! Without having made any settings, the system sounded overwhelming. I then made the most important settings in the receiver.

Listening to music is now a completely new experience for me, especially when the nuBox 511 arrived! I use my HTPC as a music player via foobar and mainly have music in .flac quality.

So I'm completely satisfied, both with the speakers themselves, but also with the telephone service, really exemplary.

mfg,

Thomas

Hello Nubert team,

The NV 11 with Marantz SR7005 were delivered yesterday. Everything was packed tip top and the Nubi was of course also included. Connected and calibrated. What can I say?
Hey guys, I'm thrilled !!!! The Hilliard Ensemble, Pink Floyd, Adele were floating in the room.
Amazing!!! The classics flowed in the room and I had the impression that time stood still. Pure enjoyment. With Airplay and iPod, the whole thing worked straight away.

So, dear people, thank you very much for your skills.

Stefan S.
