For half a year now, I have regularly had the pleasure of listening to music that I have recorded myself in the way I would like to.
One would think that this wish should be easy to fulfill in view of the countless loudspeaker manufacturers with their often large variety of models. At least if you have the necessary small change and a certain feel for quality.
After years of searching, I finally found what I was looking for.
And lo and behold!
The budget wasn't the problem.
It just took a while to find someone who thinks and listens in roughly the same way as I do and who also builds loudspeakers.
No boxes that look great but only make noise that sounds remotely like what I had previously laboriously tried to capture.
I am very grateful.

Dear Nubert team !

Most of the entries in this guestbook are from customers who have only owned their Nubert speakers for a few days and then make spontaneous comments.
Anyone looking at this guestbook as a potential loudspeaker buyer might wonder whether the products are still being judged so enthusiastically even after a longer period of experience, or whether the first enthusiastic entries could be attributed to something like a group dynamic chain reaction in virtual space.
As someone who bought his NuLine 120 with ABL module in the summer of 2004, I would like to pass on my views, which have matured over time, to anyone interested:
My opinion of the Nuline 120s has indeed changed, but even more in the positive direction:
I am even more satisfied with the transducers than I was after I bought them; my enthusiasm has not faded. There is also a strong feeling of joy and satisfaction.
Just seeing the speakers in my living room makes me happy, not least because of their good looks.
When I then listen to good recordings with them, it's easy for me to imagine that I'm taking part in the concert or recording live; especially when I close my eyes and can see the individual instruments or singers with all the space and air components with my ears, so to speak, and determine their position almost three-dimensionally.
I am also always impressed by the tonal balance, which reminds me of neutral studio monitors. I also like to use the Nuline 120 to check mixes that I have created in my own studio at home.
As far as the bone-dry bass range is concerned, the limits here are probably determined more by room influences than by the speakers. Abysmal organ basses can unfold their downright frightening effect and DVD movies can be punched in the pit of the stomach as desired.
I haven't missed a subwoofer yet.
I can experience all this with an absolutely neutral amplifier setting (my Symphonic-Line RG 9 has no tone controls anyway)
I can't report any signs of wear or other quality problems. This is where the fine and solid workmanship from the Swabian region proves its worth.

Conclusion: After one and a half years, I am still completely thrilled.

I won't have to buy new speakers for a very long time.
The only thing I still need is to upgrade to surround sound.
Then you would have to deliver them to me in Norway...:-)

my Nu Line speakers have now been here for 2 weeks; they bring a smile to my face every day; great.
The following is an excerpt from an e-mail I wrote to Nubert; I think the support and (the product anyway) were and are first class.
Rarely is the term customer advisor so meaningful.

Here you go:
...But that's not the subject of the mail. As already mentioned in my post, Mr. Kohler took me under his wing and I felt that I was in very good hands with him from the very first second. It's not just about what I told him at the beginning of the consultation about my HK/stereo listening habits, but above all about what I didn't say...
In particular, the fact that he listened to me at every moment of the consultation and also included his comments made the consultation very valuable for me.
Mr. Kohler always remained discreetly in the background, did not try to influence me in any way or to persuade me to buy a box set. His extremely friendly manner is very pleasant. I realized that there is someone working there who understands his job, enjoys doing it and, above all, who stands behind the product he represents....

So far, so good...
I don't want to talk any further about Nubert's loudspeakers here, they are dangerous because they are addictive...

I am the proud owner of a pair of nuWave 8 floorstanding speakers.

I have a somewhat unusual question. As we are currently redecorating our living room, it would make sense to place the speakers on the wall behind our seating area. This means that the speakers would radiate from behind and the listeners would sit between the speakers. Is this sensible and possible?

After retiring my 25-year-old speakers, I had to look around for new speakers. After looking at a few candidates, I came across the Nubert homepage by chance (Internet). I was immediately impressed by the Nubert philosophy and the product selection (and the reviews), but my wife didn't like the look of the speakers, although of course it doesn't come across that way on the Internet.
In the end, after frustrating experiences in various popular hi-fi stores and convinced by various test results and customer testimonials, we decided to buy from Nubert.
As greed is not always the best policy, I ordered the NuLine100. The parts arrived 2 days later, perfectly packaged and quite heavy.
Of course, I had to plug them in with my son the same evening and then listened to various CDs until after midnight.
We are all completely delighted with the sound and the perfect workmanship, and the speakers look great too. Not a word here in the guestbook is an exaggeration.
I can only recommend these speakers and the handling by Nubert.

Bose is only visually good, soundwise junk.
I've had the same experience.
The treble is missing there.
The same applies to B&O.

NuBox 400

I was looking for an alternative for a small floorstanding speaker. My quite good \"Jamos\" sounded a bit tired to me over time.
I ordered the nuBox 400 - and it was delivered three days later: That's quite unusual! So a straight A for logistics.
So how does the nuBox 400 sound?
Pretty good, and, considering the price, pretty damn good. The bass is clear, but not as outstanding as the reports suggest. The mids are amazingly vivid, however, and that's where I hear the greatest added value. In my opinion, the treble switch is not a good choice, as this setting is a bit shrill in the long run.
Overall, I'm more than satisfied with my purchase, this is a 500-euro speaker, at least!

Supplement:
Of course there are 3x nuBox 310.
So these things seem to be small enough to overlook a center...

yesterday, shortly after 1pm (almost exactly 26 hours after ordering!!) my nubert parcels arrived.
everything was beautifully packed, so the first half hour was almost taken up with unpacking.
as i had been waiting for the ups man all morning, i had enough time to dismantle my previous bose system and pack it for shipping - as it had already been sold.

the first thing i opened was the big box - the aw 880 subwoofer. huge compared to my previous bose woofer.

then I tackled the other packages. everything was delivered as ordered, including the wall bracket and y-cable for the aw880.
first impression: everything looks quite high quality and smells like it was just screwed together yesterday.

then the loaded tv rack a little from the wall and the receiver to the front to do the wiring (today i have a good muscle ache from the bending).
the rear dipole speakers against the wall and the two front 310s on the existing stainless steel stands.
oops, they bend a bit in the wind...
the 310s are quite a bit heavier and bigger than the tiny bose cubes - the bose woofer even fit under the tv rack.
the aw 880 is now standing big and fat next to it.
first test: the 310s sound good, perhaps still a little thin, but no sound from the subwoofer...
so operating instructions from the receiver. ah, right, subwoofer must be set to \"on\".
too bad, still no sound.
read on, change surround speaker from \"large\" to \"normal\" and wham...
impressive how the 880 suddenly kicked in.

so then I tried a few more things, gladiator, jazz, hip hop etc. now even the 310s no longer sounded thin and the surround effects were amazing thanks to the rear dipoles and of course the aw 880.

by now it was almost 7pm and my wife came home... (that was my only fear).
little tip: women who are used to small things have a hard time getting used to bigger things!!! (i'm talking about loudspeakers here!;-)
so i think it will take a few days for her to get used to it, no amount of persuasion, e.g. \"wait and see, with the plasma we also said after a week that it could be a size bigger....\"

but i think the absolutely brilliant sound will also convince you after a few days! everything takes time...

i had already ordered the system 5 from the other well-known german manufacturer with the red lettering. here, however, the delivery time suddenly fluctuated from 3-4 days (telephone inquiry shortly before ordering) to 5 weeks (immediately after ordering).

the nubert system is now my third surround system.
my first came from orbid sound, which was very good in itself, but quite large.
the bose system was really small and unobtrusive and for the really small cubes the sound was ok!

but the nasal sound and the lack of REAL boom when listening to music made me sell the bose system.

i am extremely satisfied with nubert! good and unobtrusive telephone advice, extremely short delivery time.
really an absolute recommendation.

1 pair of wall brackets
1 y-cable

total price incl. shipping 1347,52.
there is little better for the money!

Yesterday I was in Gmünd with a friend and we were able to listen intensively to everything Nubert produces.

\We were "advised" by Michael Kellner (he largely left us to our own devices), who had so much confidence in us that he left us alone with two listening rooms full of valuable loudspeakers etc. Many thanks at this point for all the information, for "rebuilding" a little and for the coffee.

It was a very intense experience that was definitely worth it - also financially! (probably for both parties, because... )

In the end, we took 2 Marantz stereo amps (one large + one small), 2xNubox 380 in beech and 2xNuLine 80 in cherry.
These two combos are now rocking at home and they sound extremely good there too!

If you're lucky, you can also see Mr. Nubert in Gmünd. Unfortunately, he had already left by the time we had completed the formalities, so I would like to thank him here in the guestbook for the speakers and the lovely atmosphere - you quickly feel at home there.
