The cable
We present the nuCable massimo, an exclusive high-end cable, assembled in three lengths with rhodium banana plugs. It uses the finest silver-plated strands with a total cross-section of 6.0 mm². This combines the best technical properties with an excellent appearance. As a direct sales company, we traditionally have the shortest line to our customers, and time and again we have received requests for a cable that is even higher than the nuCable Exklusiv. Therefore, we have tried to find points that can be increased even further
Cross section and material
Instead of 4.0 mm², we have used 6.0 mm² cross-section. The fine strands, each with a cross-section of 0.02 mm², are finely twisted and firmly connected to the connector. Care is taken to ensure the lowest possible resistance at every point. On the one hand, oxygen-free copper is used, which has been elaborately silver-plated, and on the other hand, a cross-section of 6.0 mm² is used, which lowers the resistance. Of course, the poles are elaborately insulated from each other to exclude any negative effects from the outset.
Banana plug
The nuCable massimo is available in three lengths: 3 m, 5 m, 7.5 m and is therefore ready-made. For Nubert, this means that the cable ends are fitted with high-quality banana plugs. The contact material is rhodium, an extremely hard and durable material that is much less abrasive than gold. In addition, the plugs are angled at 45° so that less pulling force is applied behind the banana plug and the space requirement is minimised.
Sustainability
The banana plugs are extremely sturdy, but if one should still break off, the screw connection of the plugs helps, making replacement easy. To reduce plastics, the nuCable massimo comes in a high-quality cardboard box and is shipped CO₂ neutral. Together with a 5-year warranty, the cable becomes a purchase for life. In addition, the cable is Made in Germany for short transport distances.
