General Information
Never operate this device unattended!
Risk of Electric Shock!
To avoid the risk of electric shock, the device must not be opened by the user. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Service and repairs should only be performed by qualified professionals authorized by Nubert. For service, contact Nubert electronic GmbH directly (info@nubert.de)!
Risk of Suffocation!
Never let children use the device or play with the packaging unattended! There is a risk that children could get entangled in the packaging film and suffocate. Ensure that children cannot remove small parts from the device! These parts could be swallowed, leading to choking hazards. In case of swallowing any parts, consult a doctor immediately!
Risk of Injury or Damage!
Handle the device with care when moving it to avoid injuries and damage!
Caution!
Since this device can only be fully disconnected from the mains by unplugging the power cord at the rear or the wall socket, it must be placed so that you have free access to the power input or plug. If any of the following conditions occur, immediately turn off the device and unplug it from the mains. Contact Nubert electronic GmbH (info@nubert.de)!
- The device itself has been damaged or has fallen.
- The power cable or plug is damaged.
- Objects or liquids have entered the device.
- The device has been exposed to excessive moisture or rain.
- The device is not functioning properly or shows a significant reduction in performance.
- The device emits a burning smell, develops smoke, or makes unusual noises.

Placement Instructions
Caution!
An unstable placement location can lead to damage to the device.
- Place the device on a flat, stable surface and ensure it cannot be knocked over!
- Ensure that no unintended tension is applied to the cables to avoid pulling down the device or damaging the connection ports!
- Keep strong mechanical shocks away from the device!
Caution!
Excessive heat buildup inside the device can shorten its lifespan or lead to a fire.
- Never cover the device!
- Do not operate the device near heat sources such as radiators or stoves!
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight!
- Never place burning candles or similar open flames on the device!
- The ventilation openings or heat sinks of the device must not be covered. Ensure at least 10 cm of free space around the device! If the device is placed in a cabinet or shelf, adequate air circulation must be ensured, for example, by openings in the back panel of the cabinet.
- Do not place the device on soft surfaces such as beds, sofas, or carpets to avoid blocking ventilation openings on the bottom.
Danger of Explosion!
Installing the device in unsuitable locations can cause explosions. Do not use the device:
- In environments prone to fire or explosions!
- At extremely low or extremely high temperatures!
- Near flammable gases or vapors!
- In areas with heavy dust!
- Near flammable materials!
Risk of Electric Shock!
The device contains mains voltage internally. There is a risk of fatal electric shock.
- Never touch the device with wet hands!
- Use the device only in a dry location!
- Do not operate it outdoors or in damp rooms!
- Protect the device from all types of liquids, including dripping and splashing water.
- Do not place containers with liquids (e.g., flower vases) on or near the device!
- If the device is brought from a cold environment into a warm room, condensation may form inside. Wait until it reaches room temperature and is dry before turning it on!
- Do not allow objects or foreign bodies to enter through the ventilation slots.
- If the device comes into contact with liquids or objects enter the interior, unplug it immediately and contact Nubert electronic GmbH!
Connection Instructions
General Connection Instructions
- Connect the device to the mains only after all other connections have been made!
- Use only the designated cables or connectors for the connections! Otherwise, damage or malfunctions may occur.
- If you need to disconnect connections on the device, always pull the plug, never the cable!
- Ensure that all plugs are firmly seated in their sockets!
- Use only cables and accessories recommended by Nubert!
Caution!
Power surges in the electrical grid (e.g., due to lightning strikes) can damage or destroy the device.
- A surge protector can provide some safety against excessive voltage in the power grid.
- For maximum safety, fully disconnect your devices from the power grid and antenna systems during thunderstorms or the risk of lightning strikes. Unplug the power cord from the socket and any antenna connectors from your HiFi system!
- If the device is not used for an extended period or is left unattended, disconnect the power supply. Unplug the power cord from the socket!
Risk of Electric Shock!
Faulty power supply systems or excessive mains voltage can result in electric shocks.
- All power supply or antenna systems connected to the device must comply with applicable legal regulations and standards and be professionally installed by a licensed installation company.
- Only use the supplied power cable to connect the device. The power cable and its plug must not be modified under any circumstances.
- Ensure that the mains voltage at your location matches the device's requirements! The correct power supply information can be found on the label on the back of the device. The device must not be connected to other power supplies.
- When laying power cables, ensure they cannot be damaged (e.g., by heat or mechanical stress). Pay particular attention to areas around plugs and distributors!
Risk of Overload
Caution!
The Nubert nuPower D can deliver very high currents and voltages. In extreme cases, this may result in overloading the connected speakers. Always watch for signs of overload, such as distorted sound or the smell of burnt electronics! Gradually and carefully increase the playback volume to avoid sudden, unintended power surges!
Unpacking
Caution!
When unpacking your Nubert nuPower D, avoid using sharp or pointed objects to prevent potential damage to the casing. Keep the packaging for future transportation of the device.
Caution!
Ensure that bare wires of the connection cables do not touch each other or other metallic parts of the casing!
Caution!
The connection terminals for channels L and R must not be interconnected or connected to the same speaker. Additionally, no terminal should be connected to the casing or other grounding contacts.
Device Care
Caution!
Improper handling of the device may result in damage.
- Always unplug the power cord before cleaning the device!
- Clean the device regularly with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For stubborn stains, mild soapy water may be used. Never use harsh cleaning agents or solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, or similar substances!
- Before resuming operation, ensure that all connections are correct, there are no short circuits, and the device is completely dry.
