DIDRC is a discrete signal control circuit that embodies Onkyo's sound philosophy and is used in the DAC's analog filter. DIDRC's high-slope design reduces noise generated in the very high frequency bands of digital sources, resulting in a cleaner, clearer sound.
- A 5 mm thick extruded aluminum front panel provides greater rigidity and suppresses vibration.
- The "oval chassis" with oval press lines reinforces the base area and distributes vibrations.

- High-quality 10,000-uF capacitors made exclusively for Onkyo, a copper bus bar, and rigid front panels further reduce vibration and signal loss.

The A-50 has an output power of 180 W (4 Ω, 1 kHz, THD 0.7%, 2 channels driven) / 110 W (8 Ω, 20-20 kHz, THD 0.07%, 2 channels driven). Although it is a single integrated amplifier, it can powerfully drive a wide range of speakers, from large floorstanding speakers to small bookshelf speakers, maximizing the potential of any system.
