High end - in all parts
Brilliance through newly developed chassis
For the first time in Nubert's 50-year history, we are using metal cones. Their advantages are well known - but so is their "ringing" in the uppermost frequency range. With a novel combination of mechanical and electronic measures, we were able to render this resonance effect harmless. With its flawlessness, the resulting phenomenal resolution and transparency of the super high frequency range up to over 30 kHz now also meets Nubert standards. The Non Resonant Technology designed for this purpose, in conjunction with the most powerful external neodymium ring magnet currently available, impresses with unmistakable naturalness and an airy, well-structured presence in the treble range. The reproduction in the particularly sensitive upper range is thus impressively enhanced - without any annoying sound coloration.
Intelligent sound control
The principle of "form follows function" has also been consistently applied to the new nuVero series. The distinctive sound sails of the previous nuVero are still part of the design - but with the new, organic curve of the cabinet shape, edge dispersions have been completely eliminated! By intelligently combining the new drivers with the specially tuned crossover and the outstanding acoustic profile of the redesigned cabinet, we have created a consistent sound characteristic across all models in the entire series. It is made unique by the significantly extended ideal listening zone: impressively more space for audiophile enjoyment in a class of its own.
Noticeable bass response, seamless and impulse-accurate
For maximum sound precision, we use high-quality, 4-layer carbon fabric in the new woofers and midrange drivers. With its exceptional torsional rigidity, this high-tech material from Formula 1 technology guarantees incredible impulse fidelity and a dry, clear sound structure. We have effectively and measurably minimized sound bundling effects in the speech range to an inaudible level thanks to the precisely calculated compact midrange drivers. Their precise integration ensures the perfect, completely seamless fusion of the bass and mid-range in the transition area. With impressively wide surrounds and large voice coil diameters, the new nuVero is also ideally equipped for extreme impulse peaks and high continuous levels in the bass range. Bass reflex ports based on the downfire principle further enhance the bass power.
Deep detail and clear localization
The targeted localization of sound is inextricably linked to the perception of natural sound. We have achieved our goal of coming close to the ideal dispersion characteristics of a point source speaker: with extremely wide omnidirectional dispersion - both horizontally and vertically. Similar to coaxial drivers, but without their inherent disadvantages. As a result, music can be experienced in perfect three-dimensionality with significantly more presence and fine detail. Phantom sound sources are incredibly clear and stable to locate.
Seven models for room-filling dynamics
Our new star in the world of passive speakers will comprise seven models at first: three floorstanding speakers (with a maximum height of 180 cm for the top model), a compact speaker, a centre speaker, a universal wall/ceiling speaker, and a precisely tuned subwoofer.
