Yamaha has a history of more than 60 years as an audio brand. The technology of the R-N800A is based directly on Yamaha’s legendary HiFi design concept ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology), which preserves the integrity of the sound by combining a carefully symmetrical left/right circuit layout and signal directness (as straight and short signal paths as possible) with a low-vibration, highly rigid chassis equipped with the special resin frame, the “Art Base”. This frame absorbs and dampens unnecessary vibrations. As a result, the purity and dynamics of the sound are preserved.

ANTI-RESONANCE FEET

The R-N800A also features anti-resonance feet developed according to the concept of vibration damping. By arranging thin, curved reinforcement bars around the outer edge and thick, straight reinforcement bars in the centre, vibration energy transmitted from the outside of the foot is effectively dispersed and reduced, while high rigidity is maintained in the centre. This creates a precise sound that lets you fully feel the rhythm and dynamics of the music.

LOW-IMPEDANCE CONCEPT

To prevent energy loss and deterioration of the audio signal, the R-N800A uses thick wires for the ground connection, an important feature that identifies the components as true premium HiFi devices. In addition, a screw connection is used for the output of the power amplifier to strengthen the grounding, which is crucial for audio quality. This gives the R-N800A a better signal-to-noise ratio and allows it to reproduce sound clearly and distinctly.
