Device Placement and Precautions
Ensure the correct voltage corresponding to your country's power supply before operating the device.
Basic Safety Instructions: WARNING! Since the device is powered by electricity, it is important to observe the following safety precautions:
- Do not touch the device with wet or damp hands.
- Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
- Always unplug the power cord by pulling the plug itself from the socket. Never pull the cord.
- In case of device defects, please contact your dealer or the German MUSICAL FIDELITY distributor, REICHMANN AudioSysteme.
- Do not pull the power cord to move or reposition the device.
- Avoid using power extensions or multiple daisy-chained power strips.
- Do not block the air intake or exhaust vents.
Make all audio connections only when the device is disconnected from the power source. Route all cables leading to the device in such a way that they are not pinched, power and audio cables do not cross unnecessarily, and no trip hazards are created.
Place the device on a horizontal, stable surface. Avoid direct sunlight as much as possible. If water enters the device, immediately disconnect it from the power source and take it to an authorized service center.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Do not open the device housing.
Disconnect the device from the power source during thunderstorms or lightning strikes.
Follow all warnings on the back of the product. Note: Unauthorized opening of the device voids all warranty claims.
Never clean dust or dirt from the device with chemical cleaners or polishes. Use only soft cloths, such as microfiber, to clean the device's surface. Your dealer can provide further advice on this topic.
