The M6scd - Overview
The M6scd is a superb CD player in every respect. It uses a 32-bit digital-to-analogue converter with 192 kHz upsampling frequency and reproduces even the most complex recordings with musical fidelity.
From the predecessor model, the M6CD, we have taken over the fabulous CD drawer mechanism, which did its job perfectly and proved to be extremely reliable even in long-term use. Of course, the M6scd also has a wide range of digital inputs. This means that it is not only a world-class CD drive, but also a phenomenal stand-alone digital-to-analogue converter! The two coaxial (RCA) digital inputs operate at up to 24-bit 192 Hz, while the two optical inputs (Toslink) and the asynchronous USB input perform at up to 24-bit 96 kHz. The M6scd also has coaxial (RCA) and optical (Toslink) digital outputs.
The new M6scd offers outstanding sound quality, excellent disc reading capability and plays at a world-class level in terms of measurement. It is the perfect symbiosis of excellent sound, good looks and a wide range of digital inputs, making it the ideal partner for the M6si integrated amplifier and a wide range of other amplifiers.
