Before connecting and operating the device, it is essential to thoroughly read the user manual, especially its safety instructions. For your own safety, strictly observe all warning and safety instructions in this manual and on the speaker. Intended Use

This speaker is exclusively intended for audio playback in dry indoor environments. Use the speaker only as described in this user manual. Any other use (especially safety-critical or medical applications, outdoor installation unless specifically IP-certified) is considered improper and may result in property damage or personal injury. Nubert electronic GmbH assumes no liability for damages resulting from improper use.

General Information

Never operate the speaker unattended!

Risk of Suffocation!

Never leave children unattended with the speaker or its packaging! Children could become entangled in the packaging film and suffocate. Ensure that children cannot remove small parts from the devices! These parts could be swallowed and pose a choking hazard. Contact a doctor immediately if any parts are swallowed!

Warning!

To avoid the risk of property damage, the speaker must not be opened by the user. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the speaker. Service and repairs must be performed by qualified professionals authorized by Nubert. For service cases, please contact Nubert electronic GmbH directly!

Warning!

If the speaker is operated while damaged, further defects may occur. If any of the following conditions apply, immediately take the speaker out of operation and contact Nubert electronic GmbH!

• The speaker has been damaged or has fallen.
• Objects or foreign substances have entered the device.
• The speaker emits a burning smell, smoke, or unusual noises.

Placement Instructions

Risk of Injury or Damage!

When moving the speaker, handle it with care to avoid injuries and damage!

Warning!

An unstable placement can cause damage to the speaker.

• Place the speaker only on a flat, stable surface and ensure it cannot be knocked over!
• Ensure that cables are not accidentally pulled to avoid toppling the speaker or damaging the connectors!
• Protect the speaker from strong mechanical shocks!

Warning!

Excessive heat buildup inside the device can shorten its lifespan or cause a fire. Heat exposure on the speaker surfaces may also cause damage.

• Do not operate the speaker near heat sources such as radiators or stoves!
• Do not expose the speaker to direct sunlight!
• Never place burning candles or similar open flames on the speaker!

Warning!

Moisture can cause damage to the speaker.

• Use the speaker only in a dry location!
• Do not operate it outdoors or in damp rooms!
• The speaker must be protected from all types of liquids, including dripping and splashing water.
• Do not place containers with liquids (e.g., flower vases) on or near the speaker!
• If the speaker is brought from a cold environment into a warm room, condensation may form inside the device. Wait at least 6 hours before turning it on to ensure it has acclimated to room temperature and is dry!
• Avoid using the speaker during rapid temperature changes!

Placement Instructions

Warning!

Since the device can only be completely disconnected from the power supply at the power input on the back or by unplugging the power cord, ensure that it is positioned so you have unrestricted access to the power input or plug. If any of the following conditions occur, immediately turn off the device and disconnect it from the power supply. Contact Nubert electronic GmbH (info@nubert.de)!

• The device is damaged or has fallen.
• The power cable or plug is damaged.
• Objects or liquid have entered the device.
• The device has been exposed to excessive moisture or rain.
• The device is not functioning properly or shows a significant performance drop.
• The device smells burnt, emits smoke, or produces unusual noises.

Use only accessories recommended by Nubert!

• Never cover the rear of the device! Ensure at least 10 cm of free space and sufficient ventilation behind the device!
• Do not operate the device or remote control near heat sources such as radiators or stoves!
• Do not expose the device or remote control to direct sunlight!
• Never place burning candles or similar open flames on the device!

Explosion Hazard!

Improper placement can lead to explosions. Do not use the device or remote control:

• In fire or explosion-prone areas.
• At extremely low or high temperatures.
• Near flammable gases or vapors.
• In areas with heavy dust.
• Near easily combustible materials.

Risk of Electric Shock!

The device operates with mains voltage and voltages exceeding 35 V AC or DC inside. It is not specifically protected against liquid ingress or foreign objects. This poses a risk of fatal electric shock.

• Never touch the device with wet hands!
• Only use the device in a dry location!
• Do not operate the device outdoors or in damp environments!
• Protect the device from all types of liquids, including dripping and splashing water.
• Do not place containers with liquids (e.g., flower vases) on or near the device!

Connection Instructions

General Connection Guidelines

• Unplug all system components before changing any wiring!
• Ensure all connections are secure and properly connected before powering the device!
• Only use designated cables and connectors for the connections. Improper usage may result in damage or malfunction.
• When disconnecting the speaker, always pull the plug, not the cable!
• Ensure all plugs are securely seated in the connectors!
• Use only cables and accessories recommended by Nubert!

Risk of Electric Shock!

Faulty power supplies or overvoltage can cause electric shocks.

• Ensure all power supply or antenna systems connected to the device comply with legal regulations and are professionally installed by licensed technicians.
• Use only the included power cable to connect the device. Do not modify the cable or plug.
• Verify that the mains voltage matches the device requirements. Refer to the specifications on the back of the device.
• Devices of protection class 1 must be connected to the protective earth conductor of the electrical installation. Ensure proper grounding at the installation site!
• Ensure power cables are not damaged (e.g., through heat or mechanical stress). Pay special attention to connectors and distribution points!

Remote Control and Battery

The product includes a remote control and a battery. Please observe the following:

• If the battery is depleted, the remote control's range will significantly decrease. Replace the battery promptly in such cases.
• Always use high-quality CR2025 lithium coin cells as replacement batteries.
• Ensure correct polarity when inserting the battery by aligning the + and − symbols in the battery compartment.

• Do not drop the remote control!
• Keep the remote control and battery away from water and liquids!
• Do not operate or store the remote control and battery in high humidity or extreme temperatures!

Danger!

Leaking or exploding batteries can pose health risks and cause damage.

• If the device is unused for an extended period, or if the batteries are exhausted, remove the batteries to prevent discharge, leakage, or explosion.
• Replace leaking batteries immediately.
• If you encounter leaking batteries, do not touch the leaked material. Dispose of the batteries immediately!
• Avoid contact with leaking batteries!
• If leaked material comes into contact with skin, eyes, or mouth, rinse the affected area with water and contact a doctor immediately!

Risk of Internal Chemical Burns!

Swallowing batteries can cause severe internal burns within a short time and may be fatal.

• Ensure that batteries cannot be ingested or inserted into any body part!
• Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children.
• If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
• If you suspect that a battery has been swallowed or inserted into the body, seek medical attention immediately!

Care and Cleaning Tips

Improper handling of the device may cause damage.

• Always unplug the device before cleaning!
• Clean the device regularly with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use mild soapy water.
• Never use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents such as gasoline or alcohol!
• Before restarting, ensure all connections are correct, no short circuits exist, and the device is completely dry.
