Maximum performance with BTL

With Bridge Tied Load (BTL), the MX-A5200's power reserves can be increased even further. This allows for additional enhancement of playback through the front speakers.

Uncompromising construction

As part of its uncompromising design, the MX-A5200 features a specially engineered, ultra-rigid chassis that eliminates the effects of vibration.
The MX-A5200 uses a double bottom construction of 1.6mm thick steel anti-vibration plates - just like the legendary Z11 AV receiver.
To support the heavy heat sinks and other components, the left and right sides are independently designed and supported by a solid frame. The lower frame reduces the transmission of vibrations from the generously sized power supply.
The MX-A5200 also has a heavy isolator that blocks vibrations from the outside.

Perfectly symmetrical

The MX-A5200 balanced power amplifier is precisely engineered, its signal routing and circuit design allowing perfect channel separation of the left and right sides.
The circuit design improves the signal-to-noise ratio and creates a wide soundstage.

Effortless power

The MX-A5200 uses a large toroidal transformer with high output power and combines it with two special high-capacity charging capacitors. This makes it as powerful as it is resistant to overload.
Energy is not lost, but used for effortless sound reproduction.

Superior connections

The rear of the MX-A5200 features high-quality, gold-plated connectors compatible with Y plugs (banana plugs) for a perfect connection to the speakers.

Heavy, stable base plate

A stable chassis is the foundation for better performance and full, rich sound. The MX-A5200 is equipped with a thick base plate. It stabilises the entire structure for the best possible sound.

Balanced XLR connections

When connecting AV components, electrically induced noise can occur. This can come from the connection of the components as well as from other, external sources.
To overcome this problem, the MX-A5200 uses balanced connections for all eleven channels, as is common in professional audio. The alternative unbalanced RCA connection uses a special technology that allows a kind of simple balanced transmission.
